Rongor Posted July 24, 2022 Posted July 24, 2022 It's a great idea to include heat blur effects, yet this seems ridiculously too much. This is in idle power. 4
gulredrel Posted August 3, 2022 Posted August 3, 2022 Noticed this too, even a large engine, but the effect should be more or less only inline with the nozzle further aft.
Aernov Posted August 3, 2022 Posted August 3, 2022 Yep, blur effect "source" seems to be placed slightly too deep in the nozzle so it clips with the nozzle edges.

statrekmike Posted August 3, 2022 Posted August 3, 2022 Yeah. A minor issue overall but it does look quite distracting when on the ground, that is for sure.
yeti Posted October 30, 2022 Posted October 30, 2022 (edited) The heat effects at the engine exit are not behind the nozzle but at the rear of the fin which causes visual problems (flickering of 3d on the end of the rear part of the fuselage) Edited October 30, 2022 by Vibora 2
MelonatorPL Posted February 20, 2023 Posted February 20, 2023 Hi just a small visual bug I found. Looks like the engine's heatblur is a bit too far forward and clips through the fuselage. (Also is it me or does it seem a bit too big)
Iron Sights Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 I have noticed that did seem quite right, compared to the others, but I wasn’t sure. Unless the engine so hot that nozzle is radiating heat?
Vibora Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 It is fixed internally and will be added in next update. 4 2 Roberto "Vibora" Seoane Alas Rojas [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
LCO489 Posted February 23, 2023 Posted February 23, 2023 Hi. Vibora, i was about to report these and found this topic. As you said that its already fixed, i just want to say that this issue was visible only on player planes not AI, but in the Mirage-F1.lua that have some parameters that could be related to this issue as below, i think shows wrong values: null null With those values exaust stays way behind the nozzles exit. Measuring the model, Pos should be about {7.350, -0.111,0.0} and Diameter=0,845. If that's already considered on that fix you mentioned, please ignore it. Thank you.
