nickos86 Posted November 23, 2022 Posted November 23, 2022 (edited) Hi, The Viper damage modelling is a WIP and it's understandable. But please increase the priority of this task. Currently almost every hit will results in fuel leakage (I've even had one after an aircraft collided with me during taxi on a MP server). It makes it very painful and annoying fighting other A/C in DCS that can sustain much more damage (they'll have system malfunctions when hit but not necessarily a fuel leak). In MP, after the enemy hit you - they'll just bug out or start "wasting time" knowing that you've got 30 sec left until you out of fuel. Thanks! Edited November 23, 2022 by nickos86 6 2

Linx Posted November 23, 2022 Posted November 23, 2022 I second this request. At least alter the fuel leakage depending on the extent of the damage. Currently it does not matter if you are hit by 7.62mm MG or 100mm flak, the speed of the fuel leak is the same. 3
skywalker22 Posted November 24, 2022 Posted November 24, 2022 And if there is a missile hit, in 95% (I would say no matter which one, specially Fox1 and Fox3), is a guaranted death. So no ejection. Please check that as well. 4
Furiz Posted November 25, 2022 Posted November 25, 2022 Yea its getting rly annoying, almost if a butterfly claps its wings Viper loses its whole fuel... its not made out of cardboard. Please adjust.
LieutenantFalcon Posted November 25, 2022 Posted November 25, 2022 Yeh the F-16 has had a wonky damage model since a few patches now, especially with the fuel. With a fuel leak at least add the external effect, since right now there's no way to even tell an F-16 has a fuel leak from the outside.
