Gotta be sometime soon I reckon?

"Two weeks, be sure." - Oleg Maddox.

Spoiler alert: It wasn't two weeks, but it was worth the wait.

Very very nice.  Can we get the Mod to test somewhere ?

There are some very talented developers who have recently stopped their work because of all the nagging and nit-picking they were getting.  I would hate to see the Nomad go that way.  It will be done and put out for us when it is done and put out.

I do agree with that statement, but giving some infos and setting expectations is good also. To know if the order of magnitude, estimated, is weeks, months or... years makes a difference.

As Tonker says, could be somewhere around two weeks?

Possibly a furlong and a bit. Just don’t buy any tinned Spam and keep those fingers crossed. 🙂

Curious - to what?

Best I can see is to have no expectations on someone else's labour of love, gift wrapped and popped into our downloads folder at no charge, giving a near-endless supply of enjoyment...that way it's a nice surprise 🙂

I love how the word "Test" is thrown around very loosely. When they truly mean play before anyone else, as they have no idea how to properly test anything.

Just been playing the great Into the Jungle mission on @SPOOKY 1-1's public server (which I'm sure we've all come across, but is really worth checking out if not). Great fun as-is, but the AH-1G is going to be a game changer! Rolling in the OH-6A with a Huey gunship for support is cool, but looking forward to that extra firepower...

That's the sad truth of the majority of the people who offer themselves to be a "tester".
@ST0RM Thanks for the wise words brother!

Dear People,
As for time frame, just don't. before you ask about how long, think for a second, how long it takes for an official studio with a bunch of experts do a module for DCS.
I'm just one guy, so... it takes time, just time, so chill, it will come.

and for the mod a lot of progress has been made lately, if i'm gone radio silent it means I'm BUSY.

But work on the AH-1G continues, even if only a quick 30min session just to check some code or adjust a simple thing or a error i spotted, anyway...

I truly am a contractor simulator evaluator for an ANG program. For once, I actually know what I'm talking about 😅
Keep up the great work. Thanks in advance.

Dear @ViolentNomad

I would like to apologize on behalf of those that are unaware and unappreciative of the sweat equity you've put into this project.

Observations suggest that for every one of them there are 3 VERY understanding, appreciative and patient individuals willing to support your efforts if asked. We're silent, but we're here.

On behalf of us ALL...thank you for pouring yourself into this project and providing us ALL with something ED has not.

That is all.

(Just My Opinion)

I have to agree with everyone in term of the idea of having this implemented into the mission.

My concern is how this machine of war with impact the MP experience in terms of overall "Mission Time". If it takes about 3-5 hours for about 5 people to blow through the first initial group (until all remaining units are spawned) with the current mission parameters....what would be the new average "Mission Time" (before all remaining units are spawned) with the inclusion of only 2 Cobra's?

In other words, I worried that you monsters are gonna blow through this (and maybe even later versions of ITJ) expeditiously.

I'm sure @Mistermann & @Devil 505 will speak to this eventually, but my initial thoughts are....it's gonna be ABSOLUTE chaos, because it has to be.

I'm good to go either way!

We are aware of this for sure and are currently implementing additional red assets to keep everyone busy and spread the love.  When we started this project, we had no idea it would take off like it has with the community, and we are deeply appreciative of that.  It gives us great pleasure to see everyone enjoying our work/hobby.  We have now found ourselves monitoring a forum which we did not do in the past to keep up with bug reports and additional requests from the community.  I can assure you we have a list of things we want to incorporate.  We have been prioritizing them by complexity level and what will incorporate more functionality quicker, while saving the harder stuff to code and more complicated ideas a little further down the list.  The below should answer the attached quote.  We want to make it more challenging when there are more players involved on dedicated servers.  This will now included air to air threats, flak, and AAA.  Stand by! We are getting ready to bring the rain.

AAA is being introduced along with FLAK at Alpha, Bunker, and the South Island.  ZSU's will randomly spawn with smaller groups.  Enemy CAP can now be turned on via the F10 menu that will randomly generate different cap groups so you will need to worry about having some fighter jocks that are good with air to air.  We are working on scripting in bombers that will attack Andersen and Antonio Intl.  If you fail to intercept the bombers, it can result in client slots at Andersen and Antonio being destroyed.  You will have to wait a set period of time for those client spots to respawn.  If all your strike fighters get taken out because no one dealt with the bombers, then you will be dealing with AAA and Flak utilizing the slow-moving Bronco or Helos.  We are also working on incorporating troop insertions with the C-130 for future content.  This is just a small sample of what we have in store, pending DCS can script the rest. More to come!

Thanks, and I understand that is a small but loud portion of the people that act like that, apologies accepted, lets carry on.

It's just not me, but all others that contribute one way or another for this project to keep getting better and better, like Nibbylot dedicated his time to help me and created a brand new Flight Dynamics Simulation for the Cobra, Tobsen that is always there helping since the beginning, Hayds, Brian and Sina for all the improvements and things we create to make modding less tedious, there's a lot of people really, and for all the support guys like you and many other friends we make along this journey.
