Archangel44 Posted Sunday at 11:32 PM Posted Sunday at 11:32 PM Hey there SkateZilla, I really like the mod and thank you. A little issue I’m having and I thought I could figure it out but I couldn’t. With the mod installed into Saved Games, after start up of DCS, I click on the missions icon, then select a mission, when the mission editor loads up, it stalls out at NG.5. It does this with any mission. When I remove the super bug mod, all is well. I thought it might be a conflict with another mod so I removed all mods, clean up and deep repair of DCS and no joy. I then deleted the mod, downloaded the latest mod, IIRL, v2.42 and I get the same no load at mission editor. Any advice I will greatly appreciate. Thank you. This mod is outdated and uses an old weapontype declaration for its payload. This causes a conflict with the new weapontype declaration used for the superhornet mod. You have to remove the C-130 mod or you use this fix by SkateZilla: Quote For the C-130 Mod, the Problem line in the loadout lua file is 180, reming this line by adding "--" to the front, will allow C-130 to work, Ammo_Pallet_Contents({user_name = _("Ammo GBU-31V3B*6 [12949lb]"), clsid = "Herc_Ammo_GBU_31_V3B_bombs", contents = "{GBU-31V3B}", count = 6, mass = 981, wstype = {4, 5, 36, GBU_31_V_3B}})--GBU-31V3B The Function calls for a wsType of either 4 Stage numbers or the new format of 3 stage definitions, this line calls for 3 stage numbers then a table name, which hasn't been allowed for a while now. Alternatively, if you reeeeaaaalllly want that specific Ammo Pallet, you can update it to use the new weapon wsType format: Ammo_Pallet_Contents({user_name = _("Ammo GBU-31V3B*6 [12949lb]"), clsid = "Herc_Ammo_GBU_31_V3B_bombs", contents = "{GBU-31V3B}", count = 6, mass = 981, wstype = "weapons.bombs.GBU_31_V_3B"})--GBU-31V3B Edited Monday at 11:50 AM by Ithronwise 1 ASUS ROG Strix B450-F Gaming, AMD Ryzen 5800X, 64 GB Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4-3000, ASUS TUF Gaming Radeon RX 6800 XT, Samsung 970 EVO M.2 NVMe 250 GB (OS), Corsair MP600 PRO LPX M.2 NVMe 2 TB (DCS World), Gigabyte G27QC Gaming Monitor, DelanClip Gamer, WINWING F-16EX Metal Flightstick with Orion2 Joystick Base, WINWING F-15EX II Metal Throttle with Orion2 Throttle Base, WINWING PTO 2 Take Off Panel, VIRPIL Controls Ace Flight Pedals, Buddy-Fox A-10C UFC, Thrustmaster MFD Cougar Pack, Windows 10 Pro

You don't need an IRST for every mission, so whether you upgrade all of your planes with an IRST (hight costs, more maintenance) or just some of them, but then you have to be sure that these planes are available when they are needed. With an IRST in a fuel tank you only need a limited amount of this system and it is possible to equip any available plane with it if needed. You only has to upgrade all of them with necessary wiring (much cheaper). I found the Hercules mod sitting in plain sight there in my aircraft folder and also had it in another folder, on a different drive, that I use OvGME. So after removing all traces of the Hercules, the Superbug mod now works. Just being curious, I removed lines 179 and 180 from the Hercules loadout lua and went back into DCS. The Superbug flies, as well as the Hercules. I didn't have the time to go through and test the weapons and such or have both planes in the same mission but at least now I can fly the SuperBug. Thank you for your help. Thank you for your help. I stopped using OvGME and went back to JSGME. OvG didn't back up the original files or delete the loaded ones when I tried to disable a mod, which prevented me from joining a multiplayer server several times. When I checked the DCS integrity, I usually got a message that the game files were missing, and I had to re-download them. It's actually quite strange. I don't have these problems with JSG. Everything works perfectly; I can enable and disable mods without any errors, both in the savegames folder and in the DCS root folder. 1
