The E19 sound pack is included.

No, it uses some files of the F/A-18C module but doesn't overwrite or replace anything.

No, unfortunately not and I cannot edit the first page because I am not the thread starter. You can download the latest mod version here:
https://www.mediafire.com/file/6dw6jbftx3zl7ex/CJS+Super+Hornet+Mod+v2.4.zip/file

But I highly recommend to join the discord channel for more information, more downloads, bugfixes etc.:

not the entry.lua, the Hercules_Loadout.lua as I wrote. You can open it with Notepad, use the find function in the Edit menu (search for "Ammo GBU-31V3B*6", there is only 1 entry in this file).

Replace the whole line you will find with this one:

Ammo_Pallet_Contents({user_name = _("Ammo GBU-31V3B*6 [12949lb]"), clsid = "Herc_Ammo_GBU_31_V3B_bombs", contents = "{GBU-31V3B}", count = 6, mass = 981, wstype = "weapons.bombs.GBU_31_V_3B"})--GBU-31V3B

Save the file and that's it.

Lua files are just text. Pick your favorite text editor.

If you're totally lost, use Notepad++.

The place to put them is:

Local Drive/Users/Your Name/Saved Games/DCS/Mods/aircraft/CJS Super Hornet Mod v2.4/Liveries/...And in this Livery Folder, you should have 3 models of the F-18, the E, F and G model. Drop the proper downloaded livery into the proper plane model folder.

See the example:

Hope this helps.

Not exactly. The right and better place for liveries is in Saved Games\DCS\Liveries, and there you have to create three folders FA-18E, FA-18F and EA-18G.

If you copy the liveries into the mod folder they will be gone if you do a clean install of a new mod version.

Yea, that's one way to skin that cat. I use OVGME and when it comes time to do an update, clean install, etc... I just disable them with the OVGME program.

Perhaps it's a few more steps, but it works for me.

Thanks for the tip.

Tip:

Do NOT ever edit any formatted text container (Lua, .js, etc etc), in Windows Notepad,

Either use a software suite like Visual Studio, Or Notepad++, both are free, w/ Notepad++ being the easier to use option.
