Simshaker works with 6 motors of the HF8 pad.

Would be great if all 8 motors would be working, but was not a big deal when I was using it.

I highly recommend to buy the seat from a shop with possibility to return it if you do not like it.

I returned mine, because it was very uncomfortable after 30-40 mins.

I put a sheepskin seat cover on top of it. It feels much more comfortable.

It‘s a carseat cover I bought from Amazon.

and mounted it to my simseat.

Yes, only 6 out of 8 but it's really not a big deal.

is there anything better than this product at the moment for DCS vr? I'd like to give it a try but also not looking for something very bulky, complicated or specially noisy as i have my daughter normally sleeping in the next room to my "cockpit".

Not the correct forum for this, but you should install simconnect client (google it as I cannot find a link now).

How do you guys set up the forces for a jet? I started off with 100% on everything, just to experience it, but that was rather underwhelming, in that it was pretty much incoherent vibrations. In addition, I had resonance feeding into my headset, making me hear the vibrations rumbling. I’m assuming that’s because I’ve not set it up properly yet. I’m using simshaker for aviators beta version, and fly predominantly f-16.

if I can’t get it set up in a way that feels good/realistic/sensible I’ll probably return it. It’s a little too expensive to be just a gimmick.

The basic rule is too many vibrations at one time overlap the really useful ones.

Tip is to set up one vibration at a time. Also the vibrations should have different strength if they are similar, so you can differentiate e.g stalls from flaps down. 

Less is more, except for the cannon

I installed the NLR software, and although I didn’t run it, it seemed to behave this time. So far so good.  Ow play with settings. I’ll try the one by one approach!

will this HF8 work just like the jetpad when used with simshaker for aviators ?`

my jetpad has lost 2 motors and I can smell a short smell. Its about to die and I need a replacement

As far as I can say, yes. I never tried a Jetpad, but even with 6 motors used over 8, it's working quite fine.

thanks. I will get another jetpad if Andre can provide it because I like his product and need 2 units, but in the meantime this will have to do.

Hello everyone ! Just saw that there is a beta version 1.1.7.1 available for HF8 software. I'm using SimShaker for Aviator currently, and before trying if HF8 software may be better (was not the case 6 months ago), I would like to check if there is any release notes that list the changes and addition since previous release ?

one thing is for sure. Ive gotten this one and it works but the motors are way weaker than Andre Jet Pad motors. they just dont shake as much. any tricks ?
