And would be cool to get some cool touches like the apache seems to only get, like maybe a rifle in the cockpit or some cool dangling thing, i duno, it just feels like the apache is getting way more attention to detial. Also would be cool to shut the blind /  curtain on the top window in cockpit.

I'd just like an ability to low two or four (rather than six) missiles per hardpoint  The Apache has this feature for its Hellfires, and it should be really easy for the devs to implement.

Some of the early BS3 screenshots showed a model with only two Vikhrs per wing - so the 3d models were almost created in development (and this is a case where they could probably modify the existing 3d model to just have less tubes). It should be pretty easy.

In the meantime, the Mi24 has received its pilot. It's great.

I hope that ED will put it into the KA-50 III (1 to 1 if you like) before Christmas.

Then F16, then A-10CII and the CH-47 right from the start.....oh I'm dreaming again....but ED also makes dreams come true...so why not.

I have the Black Shark 2 and I was just about to purchase the Black Shark 3 thinking for that extra money they've finally managed to embed a Pilot Body...

To my bitter disappointment, the pilot's chair remains unoccupied. So as an act of complaint, I will delay the purchase of Black Shark 3 until DCS finally decides to sew in a pilot body in that chair, where I can realistically check down the Map placed on his leg, which enhances the simulation realism instead of constantly clicking a button for a 2D Map over-screen that ruins the moment. 

Believe it or not, constantly flying in an empty cockpit without visual awareness of the presence of one's own body, could lead to having a negative psychosomatic side effect, like dreaming of being out of control, trapped flying in a pilotless aircraft remotely controlled to crush into the oblivion of somebody else's nightmare... 

No Hull-Body in the cockpit is like a paralyzed strapped-in pilot snapped with paraplegia, analog to the mental pilot castration of having a Joy-Stick between his legs, but without the balls bearing being able to touch it...

Dont see a problem to take the Mi24 pilot model as a placeholder and just drop it into the the KA50-III. I can live with some displaced or not optimized hands alligment but this would be a first step. After that this can be optimized. Come on ED... its not hard.

The original body from BS-2 was asked by me a couple of years ago (after they removed it), and it hasn't been implemented. I imagine that the body is more integral to a module, than just placing an object in the cockpit. Otherwise, I would see absolutely no reason at all to remove it completely, before designing a new one.

How many years we must wait before ED take the pilot body back to the KA-50 and why the pilot body has be removed at first (cause we have a pilot body on BS2 before...)

We had paid 3 time this module, can we have a little consideration from ED team ?

When it is ready we will let you know, the teams are very busy. I am sorry for the wait but I hope you understand that all of the art work we do can take time. 

The BlackShark is clearly important to us or we would not have upgraded it three times over the last 16 years.

You still did not quite respond to Kappa's remark: "we had a pilot body on BS2 before"

The point is not how many times we paid for this module, but when you sell a product with a Pilot, you cannot just delete the pilot later without being in breach of facing refund claims from everyone who once bought the item including a Pilot! It is like buying a Mercedes Benz with an Air Conditioner and after an inspection, you get your car back without an Air Conditioner! What do you call that?

Sorry for the tough language, but it used to be my favorite Heli, and I hate flying in an empty cockpit, the reason why I lost interest in flying IL-2 Sturmovik. 

I can not stress enough how important it is NOT to neglect this 16-year-old product.

The pilot in the cockpit is its spirit! Give the Black-Shark back its soul again!

I fly in VR only and a pilot body is a nice immersion.
Basically the Mi24 pilot body is already there so i dont think that ED has to start every time to create new pilot body with every new aircraft module.
This can be placed for example in the Ka50 or other heli.
The sitting position is nearly the same with small arm adjustments should be not a big deal.
Every body model has manipulatiors so i dont belive it has to take more then 1 week for such adjustment work....
Collective and control stick is in every heli so why it take so long?
My last post is from January so dont tell me please you dont have resources.

Yes I totally agree. The pilot figure is critical and needs to be added. I cannot fly the KA-50 without the pilot body as it looks weird having this empty cockpit with no one in it.

Instead of the rifle in the pit, I would go for a Tokarev pistol under his left arm (shoulder sling and wobbling with weight) or across his chest.... well worn grip to metal.... pirate or buccaneer style. 

Seriously, it would look damned cool and suit our beloved attack chopper that was almost true IRL!!!!

My post from 1 year ago:

The F16 now has its pilot and I can finally enjoy the F16. That empty jet was driving me crazy.

And the CH-47 got the pilot bodies shortly after release, which I think is great and always wish for from ED now.

I still hope to get the pilot body for the KA-50 III before Christmas (this time 2024).

Regarding the A-10C, they once said that it was planned. I hope they do, because that would raise the A-10C to a current standard.
