George Menu is now in the middle of the screen in 4K resolution.  The location is not scaled properly for higher resolutions.

Hello

please include a short track replay example, your dcs log, and a screenshot.

When we test it seems ok, so maybe something else is going on

thanks

@BIGNEWY,

Be sure that you are not testing with an upscaler (like DLSS) turned on.  I am using native resolution. Attached below are screenshots the first two are at 4K and the second two are at 1080.  You can see the 1080 screen shots have the AI menu in the correct location.   This is a problem with 1440p as well.  I also included mission, log, and track files.   This is repeatable across multiple machines.  Let me know if you need more.

This must be a configuration issue local to your machine.  When I run your track, the George UI shows up in the proper locations for me.

I'm running 3440x1440 on my main monitor, with additional displays below my main one for exports. (3440x2040 combined)

You will also notice that other aspects of your cockpit environment are not carried over in the track, like the default zoom setting.  And you can see I have centered my CPG's default view on the TEDAC, so when I replay your track, I still get my view settings.

Are you running multiple monitors?

I have a similar problem right after the update to MT (Open Beta, one primary monitor, 2560x1440). The command rose is now smaller that's ok I guess. For pilot and CPG, it is in the IHADSS view (moves with monocle) which is partially obstructing the view. For the CPG, it is also at the left mid-level, not bottom left like before. I prefer the old positions. Something in the update moved them.

I'm having the same problem in VR.

When i'm in the pilot seat, George menu is on top of compass in IHADSS. If he finds vehicles, the target list is in the middle of the IHADSS.

When i'm in CPG seat, the George menu is on the bottom of the screen of the IHADSS.

Like i said, i'm running VR on a Quest 2 at max resolution. My 2d screen is set at the lowest possible resolution and if i take my VR goggles off, i saw that the George menu is at the correct position.

Since i build a new pc a couple of days ago, it's a fresh install of the latest bèta, MT version.

I have this issue too on my 4K monitor after updating to the open beta with MT.

I found that it is linked to the GUI scaling. I used to have that on 2 and then the George AI overlay covers only 1/4 (half size) of my monitor. With the Pilot George interface in the middle of my screen.

If I put the GUI scaling to 1 the George AI overlay cover my whole screen and the interfaces appear as expected.

Have the same issue in the current OB as well (resolution 4k/UHD), in both MT and non-MT versions.

Scale GUI = 2

I see in Wags video this is supposed to be in the lower right corner. Mine is in the center of the screen for the Pilot but in a normal position off to the side for the CPG

Hi @SharpeXB

Have you edited any Lua files or installed mods? The editing was suggested to you in another thread here:

If that's the case and you wish to revert back, perhaps you can recover the original values or run a repair.

No mods or lua edits. I’ll try running a repair.

PS neither the short or long repair fixed the problem.

I have DCS set to 2160 x 3840 full screen, same as my Windows resolution and monitor.

That’s the same problem I’m having. Running in 2160p

Please don’t flag as ‘unable to reproduce”. All you need to do is run this on a UHD display, you’ll see it.

Sorry, I know that this is an old thread but I am having the same issue with a Quest 3 (it was placed fine using the Reverb G2). The menu is so high up I can only read the bottom option. Is there a way to drop it down and to one side?

Edit:

I've double checked and the bottom of the wheel just touched the top of the compass tape on the monocle. I can't look up far enough to see above the bottom option.
