Hi there,

Me and many others have rencently noticed that the airspeed indicator, altimeter and V/S indicator will get stuck when up high or otherwise flying in icing conditions. This is with the Pitot Heat circuit breaker on. The indicators will not come back to life when staying up high, but the do come back when flying low for a while.
All these factors considered, I would say it is the pitot heat that is bugged.

I don't think it's just the K4, several other warbirds are affected.

The other issue is that it happens in clear air as well. Until they can revisit the simulation for the atmospheric conditions that lead to icing (flying through cloud or precipitation in specific temperature ranges), I think they'd be better served to simply turn off this effect entirely.

Here you go. Towards the end when I climb out of the cloud to altitude and level off, the speed indicator climbs to over 600km/h in level flight even when the pitot heat is turned on from the start. Engine setting was about 1.2 ata.

yup, can attest to Anton as well, the pitot heat switch doesn't improve its operation in the snowing freezing conditions/temps regardless if it's engaged from the start or in-flight.

Both the track with pitot heat and without pitot heat in the Bf 109K4 shows icing. On or off doesn't matter. It's the same as the 190.
