Checked all of the Soviet- and Russian-made SAMs and MANPADS, from SA-5 to SA-18. There is a kind of booster noise when missile starts (looking from F7 mode), but there is no sound of rocket motors in F6 Missile view mode. And SA-2 does not have even launch sound, missiles take off in vacuum silence. Firstly, I thought its because of supersonic missile speed, but from the rear there is no sound too

If you remove the mods folder from the saved games directory, that should do the trick.

As for repair, if you type in "DCS World OpenBeta Repair" into the windows search, that should show you the repair function of DCS.

Otherwise you have to do it manually via command prompt:

Made a Steam integrity check after removing mods, it redownloaded two files (do not know, which), but it wasn't been useful, even made worse - there is no more missile launch sound at all. I'll try to reinstall a game at all and give you some report.

Do you have any mods installed?

If yes, remove all mods, run a repair and try again.

Reinstalled DCS fully, no mods, just additional maps and aircraft modules, same problem. Seems to be, it isn't any mod conflict.

Hi. Try this:

  1. Enable sound debug log by adding the attached autoexec.cfg into your "Saved Games/DCS.../Config" folder.
  2. Reproduce the issue in a short mission, exit the mission, click "Save track" and choose a location on your drive.
  3. Attach:
  • the sound log ("Saved Games/DCS.../Logs/sound.log")
  • your dcs log ("Saved Games/DCS.../Logs/dcs.log")
  • the DCS track

autoexec.cfg

Looks like Echo 19 core is interfering with the SAM motors this time around. No idea what it was the first time around.
