mod conflict Carriers not working any more?

Does anyone else have an issue with carriers? they just don't work for me, both Russian and Supercarriers, i put them on the ME, load the mission and the map is completely empty, like i never placed a unit.
Also instant action missions that includes carriers don't work either (excpet i think those who use the simple free US carrier)

Do you have any mods?

If yes, remove them, run a repair and see if that helped.

Had the same issue on v. 2.9.2.49940 (before the last update it worked), no carrier respawned after startup of the mission. The malicious part is that yourself are not respawned too when configured aboard, symptoms are no F1, no F3 etc. map view from start, other planes F2 working.
I shot out all mods (from Saved game), I realized Su-30MK is mod too, ran repair and everything is playing together

Just to reply to this I'm running version 2.9.2.49940 on both my servers and my desktop client and even blowing out ALL the mods from the servers saved games directory AND the mission itself hasn't resolved this:

If I try to spawn into any unit on any carrier the carrier shows a water "explosion" then the carrier disappears, It isn't on the map either. The slot is still selectable though in the menu despite the game not spawning it. This has only happened since the latest update. I think there is more going on with this issue than (delete all your mods), I also repaired the installations on both the server and the client.

Post your DCS logs from both PCs. We can't troubleshoot without them.

Managed to fix it it was indeed a mod or two causing it I have yet to figure out which one but its one of these:

to be sure, you should move all your mods to a folder for safe keeping. the only mod on your list i trust in the A-4C.

I dont see the crew in the carrier. I have VSN mods for AI. Can we fix it with the hotfix mod for fc3?

go to the mods site to see if there is an update. but officially you need to know that with mods, official support is less likely. you can disable the mod, do a repair and then test. if it works, you know the culprit. another thing is make sure the carrier you are using is an SC version. i know it is a simple suggestion but i have at least mention it. you can also upload the mission for review. good luck.

My guess is you're using the Stennis carrier.  ALL deck crew (not just the new one) is currently disabled on it (even if you own the supercarrier module) while ED figures out how to have the new one only show if you have the paid carrier module and aren't just using the free Stennis (which has no crew at any time).

Could be a mod conflict, but that has typically caused the whole carrier to not appear.
