Hi

Today, I've just tried to start the F-16 like I do since months and it doesn't start:

The power switch on Batt

The jet fuel starter on Start 1

I wait the RPM coming just above 20% and I release the Throttle cut-off and ....nothing happens. The RPM stays around 20%. Before, the RMP was increasing to 60% after releasing the throttle and the engine was on. Now the engine doesn't start.
Help needed please !

Check that your input is actually registered and the throttle does go over the idel cutoff/detent. Check also that your assignements are still present.

Nothing has changed when it comes to starting the F-16 in DCS. If it doesn't work, it's an issue somewhere on your side.

Hi

My assignment is OK and when I use the key, I see the throttle moving forward like before. I don't understand what happens.

Hello,

What you need to do is set your power switch to Main Power and use Start 2 then wait for the SEC light to go off on the caution panel, and then advance throttle to idle.

Cause if it doesn't start with Start 1 (which means you spent one hydraulic accumulator to start, giving you 2 attempts) it wont start the second time, so it is always better to use Start 2.

Try it like this, I'm sure it will start.

Ok, with your explanations I start now but I still have an issue with electrical system. Impossible to start the avionics, even after an electrical reset.

Ensure the battery switch is set to MAIN PWR.
