oversized trees

I pulled this image from Google street view, in Kutaisi. The trees seem quite tall compared to that car (70-80ft by my eyeball judgement which seems pretty close to what they are in DCS):

That's normal. In DCS Caucasus, the trees typically rise much higher than that building on the side. Trees are big, I know, particularly pine (grows fast, tall and isn't very needy), but those in Caucasus are overdone.

what is DLSS shapering? how it could be , im with 3060ti and 2K monitor. Thanks

In the GFX settings, you have a slider to adjust sharpening. You can use it to compensate for the loss of sharpness due to upscaling (or use it on its own just to your liking).

No, they are correct. It's common feeling for people who never witnessed how tall trees are in these regions, in cities and forests alike.

Caucasus is using a hybrid map tech mixing old elements with new ones. It hardle highlights everything maps can and are now and we would love to see it updated one day. So many things about the Caucasus map are not as good as we have on newer maps. That said this is a little off topic from where this thread started. The question has been answered and I am closing this. Thanks.
