In combat, you might get shot at multiple times, so I don't see this used as combat maneuver. Unlike DCS, real fighter jets are not expendable. Nealius Posted August 22, 2024 Posted August 22, 2024 (edited) There's usually a specific guns defense maneuver for situations like that, e.g. in the Tomcat it's to change your roll attitude to give the bandit a slimmer target to hit.
