Hello everyone. I have noticed that ships in DCS do not have smoke from their chimneys. For the modern world, it would be fine... but for the IIWW environment, it would be unrealistic... Is it possible to add smoke in chimneys to ships? (I have tried parameter GT.exhaust =
{

     [1] = { size = 0.75 , pos = {-1.0 , 32.0, 0.0 } },

  }

in ships.lua files but without success... Thanks in advance!

My mod also stopped smoking.
I tried the ST version and this one produces smoke.
Is it a bug in the MT version?

This is a issue since MT.

You are not the only one who noticed.

I was hoping for a fix last patch

I suggest you open a bug report in the proper forum section

It will get noticed there, and reported to the team once confirmed.

There may already be a thread stated about this issue.

We need the smoke back!

Have you tried to damage a ship?

If you want smoke, try that! LOL

The burning and fire effects are WAY better!

I have no plans to build any more WW2 ships.
I don't do fleet warfare missions either, so a carrier and a destroyer will suffice.

Has something else changed, in the code perhaps, I cant see it working.   Is this code correct ?

Might need a connector as the Kuznetsov has on in the lua code.

Just checked both ST and MT and still no smoke in MT.

The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.

I saw that connectior thing you mention Joey, none of my mods have a stack connector so I figured that would not work anyway, which made me ask the question above about the code - I feel pretty sure they have changed something Iin the code, or elsewhere, but I cant figure out how to mkake it work.

THEY will have to tell us HOW  I think !!

Sorry but it must of slipped as they do not smoke in MT. They still smoke in ST .
