Routing does not work

Hi, when I create a route in the Apache (TSD Route Page) and then fly it, it does not automatically switch to the next waypoint when I reach it. What am I missing here, or where could my error lie?

I have also noticed this in some situations.

There was an acknowledged bug where you would have to fly very close to the WP to get it to advance to the next one, but I feel like I have flown directly over it and it still didn’t advance.

I literally flew inches past or over it without it doing anything. So obviously it really is a bug.

Hello, when I create a route in Apache (TSD Route Page) and then fly it, it does not automatically switch to the next waypoint when I reach it. Routes created in the editor work correctly.

Probably gonna need to see a track then.

I will be on away until friday and not at my computer, but on a track you will only see that when flying over the 2nd waypoint, for example, the route is not switched to the 3rd if the route was created in Apache.

The same route, created in the editor, works as it should.

Hello @felixx75, this issue was previously reported internally on a prior date.

EDIT: Oh, that must have been you. 😄

Afterburners are for wussies...hang around the battlefield and dodge tracers like a man.

I have the same issue but I just select to the next waypoint instead.  Not sure that everyone does the same or not 🙂

Same with me. Have to pass the waypoint as close as possible, otherwise it will not change for the next one.

Question: How is that in reality?

I think it is up to 200 m. I just tested it, with 3 waypoints via ME and 2 more added during flight. Works fine for me, same in reversed route.

The automatic waypoint sequencing in reality is much, much larger, like in many kilometers. It's very permissive. This too has been reported and last I checked was still work-in-progress due to the logic involved (it varies depending on which direction you are intercepting the route and at what speed). But that is another topic for another thread. 🙂

Thanks for the answers. So, as before, try to get as close as possible, and for the rest wait for further notice😉😎.
