No response to advancing the throttles when it is time to taxi

I am a new but enthusiastic member of the A-10C community. I have been attempting to learn the basics of this phenomenal game, but I have run into a very vexing problem. Typically I use the "Cold and Dark" training program under the "Instant Action" heading.  and it was working fine until recently when, for no apparent reason, after I have gotten my taxi clearance from ATC, nothing happens when I apply power. Plenty of audio and all gauges are working. However, despite going to full power, there is no movement (and no, my feet are not on the brakes)!  What is that about? Sorry to bring such a lame problem to the community but I am a newbie. Any thoughts?

Checked for wheel chocks in F2 external view?

edit:

Parking brake?  (not available in A-10 thx @Yurgon)

Wheel brake axis in control setting inverted or double binding issue with another controller?

THANK YOU TOM! I can't believe it. Where did those wheel chocks come from? I have played this program about forty times and never had to remove any wheel chocks. Maybe they were added in an update. Anyway, thanks for the suggestions. I was thinking that I would have to buy a new set of rudder pedals or something.  I am a glider pilot. We generally don't need chocks., just wing tie-downs.

There is no parking brake on the A-10.

Yes and No... 😁

(...)"Actually the Guard and Reserve A-10s received a parking brake in 2019. Researched and developed, uses the backup braking reservoir to provide pressure. Active units did not get it, since it was not funded."(...)

Huh, good to know! And it even uses the same handle that many DCS players confuse with a parking brake lever.

Then again, since the article says only Guard und Reserve units got the parking brake, even if we get a DCS A-10C III Tank Slayer, looks like it'll come without a parking brake. 😉

Just considered it more as a funny coincidence, stumbling over this exact news... 🤣

Well yes... but actually no. It's possible this was tested, but it certainly was not fielded. At least the reserve A-10's don't have parking breaks, and to the best of my knowledge none of the guard ones do either. I know there are a ton of maintainers for the A-10 on these forums, has anyone ever seen an A-10 with a parking break?

Maybe the writer from Aviation geek is just lying and making things up?

Can't tell how credible the source is, but it says it was only procured for ANG units and beginning in 2019. 🤷🏻‍♂️
