I cannot find any (recent) report of this. The trackfile I have is huge.

If this is a new bug, I will see if I can reproduce it.

Uh, so as a sanity check, are you SURE it was uncaged?  The video is at night and not possible to see if the cage flag is up

I think you’re right. After increasing the brightness a bit, I see the red flag on the right side
