So you have the base in the middle low to the ground where it belongs, can you share a photo?

Yeah, I've been using a floor/center mounted stick for nearly a decade, only way to roll IMO. I mounted it to my old TMWH steel plate, I cut the plate down to the width of the AB9 base. My rudder pedals are mounted to a rectangular piece of plywood on the floor, I then stacked some wood to get the correct height, screwed that into the plywood, then screwed the mounting plate into that.

My setup is kind of a disaster these days. My seat is pretty old and is falling apart. I'd like to get the Simfab seat with the center cutout, so I can move the stick back 2-3 inches.

I'm looking at the first Moza installed correctly with a high extension. 👍

Not had time to mess with mine since Saturday evening but this blogger has the same Desk mount as myself.

For the Helicopter I think he should have adjusted the spring setting so the stick would not re centre.

Even though the holder is robustly designed, at the lowest position the hand will still be unnaturally high, what is the use?

How many warbirds have the stick on the right side, except F-16 and transport aircraft.

Consider the great potential of the ffb and adjust your mount to the center plus extension.

For each helicopter module, you must check in the Special menu if you have Instant Trim set to the cyclic trimmer!

He mentioned he did actually set the spring centre force to zero.  I'm sure it'll get fixed at some point.

Hmmmmm I did see on one of the pre test videos that a chap demonstrated  the issue and showed what needs to be done. Maybe I remember it incorrectly.

Not really. Why would you need more force? I am scared to pull it harder in case my stick brakes.
There are 3D printed mods you can get on Ebay, that might prevent breaking.

Does anyone know if this thing will work with a VKB Modern Combat Edition grip? Also, is it feasible to mount an extention to this?

Had a play last night and flying  Helicopters is way easier now. Still have to remap my keys.

Still trying to work out how the Profiles work as noticed that when you save a profile and load it it will change to another profile. I know if you change Airframes you need to change it but sometimes it will change by itself.

Turbulence and some of the forces are not apparent, Gun, fire Flaps ext. are present but some of the other variants are missing.

VKB grips work with the VPForce adapter:

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSflUrHfM9AB0f-0WGyhOLxvXQNMr7E8TBDSYYJUBQ8kqaDC7g/viewform

And you can use any extension that works for Thrustmaster, with the caveat that you already have a pretty big extension built in. I've seen people use smaller/custom extensions.

I was asking about the Moza FFB. I did ask VPForce about that too, so thanks for that answer...

Well, obviously any TM extension will work with the Moza. If the force is up to it. There are "no" electronics in an extension, except for the extension cable.
If Moza makes VBK grips work with the base in the firmware, the VPForce VBK adapter should be compatible with it.

@MAXsenna The VKB adapter doesn't go through the base, but directly to the BlackBox, so it will work with no support required on the part of Moza.

Both Moza and the Rhino use the Thrustmaster connector, so the VPForce VKB adapter will work on both.

and VPForce is the only one that makes an adapter?

For TM gear? Don't know. I've never heard anyone going from VBK to TM to be honest.

Yeah this is why Im asking, who wants to go back to thrustmaster when you have VKB? I do have a thrustmaster warthog stick, but its adapted over to the VKB base now (and Ive never even used it since)...so Im looking specifically for a base that will fit a VKB. I guess Ill have to wait for VPForce to build mine, heard it was def worth the wait.

It's probably worth the wait, or you can have someone make you an adaptor, or just re-convert the Warthog grip.

VPForce adapter will, as for every TM compatible base, only do the mechanical connection of the stick/base. VKB has proprietary electronics, so you will still need the VKB black box to run the stick.

Yes. Makes sense because you need that black box.
