Yes, very exciting times. Of course, it will probably take at least a year for these products to have proper software and such.

Yup two FFB products are coming our way.

My AVA is a door stopper now.

I think the Cyber Taurus is a little too tall for me>>>>null

OK, now Thrustmaster, VKB and VPC have to come up with those as well, or they're gonna be dead in the water straight. What shall I say? First Moza and now Winwing? I mean, VPForce does exist, but we need more players in this sector. Finally!

Very interested in these, love my virpil warbird but FFB would be worth the money.

For me to purchase I will need to wait until they are out, well reviewed and hopefully some teardowns. I expect there is a lot of opportunity for the internals to fail if this is not done properly. They need to get the price and quality right.

Interesting to see the vent holes near the bottom of the base to help keep those motors cool, the Moza base is pretty much all enclosed.

No figure has been released. There are rumors that Moza and Winwing worked together and it is the same base under the covers, but these are just rumors with no hard evidence.

Don't get me wrong, pretty psyched for FFB sticks

But nobody noticed those CDU panels in the foreground?

IMO TM should just focus on Simracing by this point, VKB is pretty creative and VPC offers solid products

Actually think the height will be pretty perfect, but mounting this on a Virpil stand... Need it to work with Virpil. Hoping they will release a ffb base as well.

My system:

Win 10, Amd Ryzen 3700@stock GTX1080 Ti, 34" Asus G-sync ultrawide monitor, Ipad Air, 32 gigs of 3600 ram, complete CH HOTAS setup, Oculus Rift CV1/Trackir5 and a Saitek Quadrant

Been simming since the Commodore 64. A few million polygons ago.

Flitesim is also planning on releasing a line of FFB controls, yoke, pedals and joystick. Also a full line of civilian based flight control panels. From their presentation at flightsim expo 2024 the panels are going to be  very attractively priced ( ie some less than $100. No mention of prices for the FFB flight controls).

https://flitesim.com/

Moza is also releasing rudder pedals, throttle, joystick grip as well as the FFB base. They stated that the force generated will be 9 nM . The Moza FFB base has pre-drilled mounting holes on the base with various patterns. Looks like it will be compatible with MonsterTech, NextLevel Racing and others. The joystick mount will be compatible with Virpil, Thrustmaster as well as their own joystick grip. The grip will be configurable similar to VKB grips.

WinWing looks to be discontinuing their helicopter collective. I wonder if they are planning on releasing an updated collective, something to match or exceed that offered by Virpil. If they do I wonder if we will see improvements to the Virpil collectives. Perhaps Virpil will release an upscale version similar to their alpha line of joystick grips. From what I have read the Virpil collective could be improved with better quality switches and perhaps more metal and less  plastic.

Looks like 2024-2025 will be a very interesting year for flight sim hardware'

I just want to buy  the best one which suits my requirements. I already brought the AVA and I am already  to swap it out.

But my money is on the Moza.

Yeah, right now it seems inadvisable to buy a higher-tier base without FFB. The benefits of choosing an AVA over a Gladiator/Ursa Minor seems rather minimal compared to going to a FFB joystick.

Man, it's gonna be tough to find a way to mount that to my NLR cockpit... might have to visit a metal fab.

Although that brings up a question... with a FFB base is there still really still a benefit to having a stick extension?

Probably even more so with these large bases, if you want to put it between your legs.

Cool, thanks.  Guess I'll have to visit a metal fab.

I would expect options to come available pretty soon, because lots of people want to increase the size of the thing between their legs.

This is not the place for gender esthetics. Will report this instantly to the forum management!

Edit: Just checked the size of the FFB-Base and possible weight. Goddammit - we’ll need a longer thing for the thing between our legs!

Are these FFB bases going to be so heavy that they'll bend typical Winwing/Virpil/monster+generic rail desk mounts?

TBH the idea of having to sit it on a stand that I can tuck away after playing is actually pretty tempting

I can think of nothing heavier than an airplane
I can think of no greater conglomerate of steel and metal
I can think of nothing less likely to fly

It seems obvious that it will be heavier than a non-FFB joystick or throttle, but we have no specs yet.

And some of the mounting options may be overbuilt enough for it to be no issue. But I'll let the early adopters run into all the issues.
