Yes. Mine is normal and always needs a couple of tap of right brake until the rudder becomes effective.

Do you check for equal power on both engines before releasing the brakes?

Does your brake gauge show zero on both sides when brakes are off?

Gotta strong crosswind from the right?

Something is not normal here.

Well, again i got the Mosquito controllers (newly) setup. Operation Jericho v25, thanks Terry, now loaded, uses the Channel Map.

Seems fine, but i cannot get lift off; around 200 Km/h on the runway, pitch full aft, shows OK in F4 chase view, but the darn thing wont get off the ground.

On the controller page it seems to work OK for pitch.
BTW, there seem to be no game mode or avionics to switch off or on any more.

Tail-wheel lock seems also not obeying full AFT as according to chucks manual. Ground looping for ever.

Tried another mission, airstart, seems something's wrong with pitch as well. I did a full repair.

Presumably also a (new) bug ?

Don't go stick aft. Let it take off by itself. Pitching up and forcing her into the air will just result in a stall.

Instead make sure you are all correctly set up, RPM, Boost, flaps if needed, weight etc.

The Mosquito does not have a tailwheel lock...

Where's the track?

Hi Razo, thnks for looking.

Tailwheel behavior in Chuck's manual:

- Mosq Tailwheel lock.jpg

Track (modded original for runway start): https://www.mediafire.com/file/yc3x3atmkliotnu/Operation_Jericho_Hard2v25.miz.trk/file

The text doesn't say anything about a lock, nor is there one in the aircraft. By pulling back you simply apply more force/pressure onto the tailwheel so it doesn't jitter around. Release the stick once you have gained some speed.

Don't put flaps to full. That's unnecessary and adds more drag than needed.

Do yourself a favour and turn off the rudder assist. Out of all Warbirds, the Mosquito is the only one where it's pretty much useless.

And also make sure to turn off "Easy Flight mode". I suspect that is what actually keeps you on the floor.

thnx, will try that ... found these scripts addressed in ... Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Config\  .... in the file config.lua. Correct?

Seems in the game easy flight for the Mosquito separately in the options-gameplay is called Simplified Flight mode? Swithched it off and have lift off !

Yes, but you need to read all of it!

I mean at step 12 you're only going 35mph, which is when Chuck says "Slowly release the stick to centre"

Step 8 is when you're at the end of the runway, lined up, brakes on (9), and you throttle up (10), holding the stick back prevents a nose over.

Considering the P-factor, shouldn't it be on the opposite side (left) when the propeller is spinning to the right?

P-factor works at sufficient speed, as it is a matter of adding this speed to blade velocity.  Downwash stream does not affect vertical tail.

Hold the brakes, then throttle up.

Steer with a combination of tapping the brake with rudder input and diferential power (holding the Throttle levers with one hand and then slightly "twist" the throttles left/right).

It´s easy to overcompensate - so delicate inputs are required.
