I don't use this launcher for the updates, I find the terminal less confusing. I believe you should select "Release" in the scroll-down list, leave "Custom Branch" empty and  2.9.5.55918 as the version.

I have been trying the Terminal option  a lot keep getting  , " not a file path", tried making sure its asking in the right drive...mine is F, just not winning, I would sell a Kidney for a connection onto Anydesk

When I use the Release Branch option, I get , version is not available. At my wits end, lolol

Hi, I think I am just going to run a repair, check that I can actually still open DCS, and wait for ED to work their magic, and fix the mess.

@BIGNEWY @NineLine I am aware that ED have said that they are looking into the performance related problems that are plaguing a lot of players and that troubleshooting an issue such as this one can be a lengthy, complicated business but I feel than interim bulletins (however placatory) would go a long way to alleviate the frustrations voiced by your client base.

performance issues are not new
however they accumulate over updates with constant degradation
Is there a need for a complete overhaul of the software?
Is this possible? Can ED do it and does it want it?
