Due to the latest update a fence is now up on the taxi way towards the runway. Still trying to navigate through it causes damage. Solution probably to go around but haven't tested if wingman will follow suit or not.

Think its from the recent map change, my guess is we have to go the long way around.

epolta Posted October 13, 2024 Posted October 13, 2024 If you taxi right up to the fence and then just crawl through the opening, your wing tip missiles will glitch through the fence without issue. you have to be going very, very slow

However, when I type the coordinates of the first target, they appear to be wrong, because I can't find the target with the coordinates.
Robsongois Posted October 16, 2024 Posted October 16, 2024 I can't slave the TGP to the created waypoint. I created the waypoint with the coordinates passed, but the TPOD doesn't go to the created target? Or was the waypoint created with the wrong coordinates? Is it a bug or am I doing it wrong?

Robsongois Posted October 19, 2024 Posted October 19, 2024 Coordinates and target resolved. Insert the coordinates at waypoint 22 and everything is ok. Gate persists with the narrow problem.
Roosterfeet Posted October 19, 2024 Posted October 19, 2024 I ran into the SPI bug where my TGP was pointed miles from selected waypoint and there was no CZ option. I was able to resolve it by cycling through delivery modes on the SMS page. 5800x3D, rtx4070, Quest3 (sometimes)

Coming from North to South low but above 3000' as instructed, and popping flares over the target, but ending up with a fatal missile hit 3 times already... Any suggestions? Thanks

I clipped through 3 times, and snagged 1 time, but managed to throttle up and destroy the fence with no damage to me. it's possible for sure. Alternatively, you can try to taxi the other way from the shelter onto the taxiway, and back taxi to the runway.

Thanks Yeah, this sucks due to how flares are just rng in DCS. I'm not going to refly this after getting shot down once, I think it's a waste of time tbh. I did the maneuver right and still got hit. But I would recommend setting countermeasures to bypass, and spamming the dispense button as many times as you can. Each flare has an equal chance of spoofing the missile. Or even better, set CM to manual, and edit a manual program of choice to max out flares: drop all flares in one burst with a minimal interval of 0.02. 2
