hey, guys did any of you have any trouble launching the game with xfire running? i seem to get stuck at some pt...the game loads but then it kicks to DT with the game in the task bar and can not be opened? i'll post this to xfire as well..just want to no if it is just my sys or there is a bug? thx..5x5

Mission objective: kick HAWX and Battlestations out of that list and make DCS pop out of "other" class :)

 

PD: if you join the group, all people will appear in your xfire (no need to add one-by-one), you'll also have voice chat (good quality).

Im a newbie when it comes to this X-FIRE thing (and BLACKSHARK) Ive joined the group, so ill see yoy guys around I set up a Black Shark chat room, thinking it might be handy for newbies like me to ask all those really dumb questions.........I apologise in advance of course itll only be up when im online, but if we all did the same (I.E. LOOK FOR A BLACK SHARK CHAT ROOM WHEN YOUR ONLINE AND IF THERE IS NONE, START ONE) Worthwhile dyou think?, I suppose it all depends on how many join the group

Ahm sorry I´m a bit curious about XFire. Are they playing online there? Do many of us play there?

It's kind of a social network with some gaming extras (custom chat channels with voice, groups, server ip where people play, video broadcast, tracking your friends gaming, file exchange, know-who-is-talking, etc.). I suppose the most important feature is to be able to keep track of your gaming friends and chat with them whenever you want.

 

BTW, not all games support all of the features.

 

People still uses hyperlobby and others apps, x-fire just sits on top of them as an all-time loaded application (3-5MBytes)

It's not a game lobby really, it's not like hyperlobby or the DCS game lobby. It is just on top of them. Xfire doesen't host any server/game in itself. It's more like a Microsoft Messenger with gaming features.

SO it´s impossible to join games within Xfire? At the moment I can´t see any servers for DCS or Arma2. Should I be able to see active servers since theres a tab for it? So I don´t have to start DCS or Arma2 just to see that theres no server available for me?

I will join this when I get home. Since Hyperlobby will not be needed after everyone is using FC2, X-fire could become the new standard for all DCS and LO moving forward.
