Yup like 3-4 would be fine.

This bases inside Iran will add a a lot of possibilities for new missions and campaigns, both for Iraq, Iran Air forces and for What Ifs US or Allied missions over Iran. Hope they give us an answer ASAP.

I had planned to create a scenario for Operation Scorch Sword; the only thing missing for a realistic reconstruction is small Hamedan Air Base.

It is all the more worth adding some Iranian airports in connection with the current conflict + better resolution of textures in this Iranian part.

The IAF flies through Iraq, refuels there and reaches Iranian territory.

I can see they've updated FAQ interactive map with Shiraz planned for Iraq South  A good start...

Seems like it was added already in Dec 2024 but not mentioned here in this thread.

Yes, it's definitely a welcome sign.  They had the mesh data for Shiraz already there from Persian Gulf.  But most of the most relevant bases for the 1980s-present are within the map's scope to the north and west of Shiraz.  

Thanks to the "12 Day War" these are now even relevant to the F-35.  The only serious conflict it has fought in.  Surely that must be a huge selling point?? 

(Also, speaking personally, if we can get Dezful, I'm getting the MiG-29A!)

Just did a short flight in the terrain, I wish they'd get some of the cities fleshed out. Anyway was going to bring up Iran as it needs some love too, given the closeness and the like. But I'm sure they're maybe working on it though, given the historical significance of the map. But yeah +1 for more Iranian airbases.

Of course, this is great news - but it is worth adding that this airport is currently located on the Persian Gulf map, so it will probably transfer the models and the entire airport structure from one map to another. However, something in the north would also be useful, somewhere in the middle of Iranian part of the map, at least two or three military airfields. That would be great.
