Bigskill Posted December 8, 2024 Posted December 8, 2024 I removed the old f5 e and lunched the installation of the F5 remastered, but nothing is happening the module is not installing. Icon appear greyed out, but on the store it shows as bought. I tried to repair the game but nothing is happening. Is there something particular we need to do in order to installing it? On DCS menu when I start the game it ask me to install it. But when i press Install button nothing is happening. Any ideas? SSD has 500gb of space available..... Please help
Bigskill Posted December 8, 2024 Author Posted December 8, 2024 Ok, apparently you cant install the modules from inside the game anymore, you have to doit from the launcher only. Problem fixed......

Problem fixed...... Not true. I just re-installed the Mig-15 to verify it still can be done from within the game. 1
ED Team Solution BIGNEWY Posted December 9, 2024 ED Team Solution Posted December 9, 2024 Hi, the F-5E should not be removed, once you have the remastered version it replaces the older one. So a simple repair would make sure the remastered version is seen. thank you 1 Forum rules - DCS Crashing? NavalAV8TR Posted December 10, 2024 Posted December 10, 2024 (edited) I bought and installed the remastered F-5 today. I only have 4 liveries (Air Force Gray, MiG-28, Navy adversary, and one other), none of the ones that are advertised. I don't recall the details of the original, so I'm not 100% sure if the remaster is actually installed. On the launcher, the remaster is selected. I turned off the selection for the vanilla F-5 to make sure, and no change. Any ideas? Edited December 10, 2024 by NavalAV8TR

NavalAV8TR Posted December 10, 2024 Posted December 10, 2024 I don't have the Swiss, Austrian, or Norwegian liveries. Are these not currently included? It's fine if it's not, I'm just trying to figure out if this is installed correctly. I believe the ones that are "coming soon" are the Vietnam era, Swiss demo, IRIAF, and aggressor forest. Thanks.
Bucic Posted December 10, 2024 Posted December 10, 2024 You just have to be in the right coalition/country. Black MiG-28, Austrian, USAF standard grey, 2 aggressor skins, Norwegian, they were all available when I checked yesterday. 2 F-5E simpit cockpit dimensions and flight controls Kill the Bloom - shader glow mod Poor audio Doppler effect in DCS [bug] Trees - huge performance hit especially up close

And vice-versa. This is how myself and others are experiencing the full-fidelity F-5 module.
