With the S you can limit the weapons to use in order to use the MIG like an A variant, but not in the other way.

That limit the Mig29A in order to use in much modern conflicts because it canot use the R77

And? the A was what they had access to. And not only the A this is the earliest "block" of A.

They can't even get access to an 80s Su27. You think uncle PutPut will give them access to a MiG29S?

Let's be happy that it will even be in version A. It has been repeated many times that ED will not deal with Russian aircraft from the 4th generation beyond what came out / FC (due to the restrictions they have). So we have an extra gift. There is no point in complaining, so the answer is very simple. We also have a chance for MiG-23 from ED, but it's 3rd generation. Nothing else (newer) has come out yet and there's no point in counting on it. Maybe some 3rd party will do something someday, but for now there's nothing on this subject.

Because if you get S you'll want M, K, SM, SM2, SMT and all others they didn't provide.

Everything flows, everything changes. Time will tell. In the meantime, the Mig-29A is also a great option, you are right.

If blue and red sides only had planes from 80s, perhaps they would have received les speculation

but as it is, questions will constantly be raiset - where, these have them and others dont

many players want to get most modern aircraft, radars, wepons, these questions will never finish
