Mute the ILS morse without shutting it down

Not sure if currently it is a bug/correct as is/wish-list item... But I assume the ILS morse sound should be mutable without shutting it down completely...?

Just bring the volume down, unless something changed.

At the bottom of the scale, before going OFF - you can still hear the morse sound. Usually this kind of hardware will have an On/Off detent at the edge, then a range based on the potentiometer to control the volume. I guess that if ED simulated the knob as a virtual axis then instead of going -1 (off)-->0(on)-100(max) it goes from 0(off) to 100(max)... So there is no "0" - the system works but the volume is muted (or it is implemented is way that is too sensitive for using with mouse clicks...)

Not a super big deal... but the ILS sound is annoying when doing a full ILS approach. It seems to be a very quick and simple fix.

Let go of all hope, they will never change that. I wait for a change in ejection button behaviour from three needed keypresses to just one keypress (for homepits) for 3 years.

Sidenote: I feel very comfortable with the faint morse code while on ILS, helps me relaxing.

The ILS and the TACAN morsecode are driving me nuts, when airspawning in Caucasus on the dogfight server. There is one arena you always spawn over the airfield which uses the tacan that is default dialed in.

So easy fix: map the tacan and the ILS volume knobs to a flip switch on your Hotas. Set it to the position that dials the volume down. Put the flip switch on the Hotas to the "volume down" position. Then set DCS to sync with Input devices when spawning.

You hear the beepy thingy just for the first second after spawn, while it shuts itself down. Problem solved.

If ED made configurable presets of cockpit configuration for ground hot, ground cold and air start this would be easily fixable. I don't mind turning the TCN knob down, but again, I don't fly quick air spawns on dogfight servers over and over again.

Configurable presets and also a random function for some stuff that can be in the 'wrong' position to get the flight pre check worth doing.

The knob detent for ILS knob should be reported as a bug or missing feature indeed...

I always set the ILS knob to the lowest possible position while still showing ON in the DED. The morse is still there, but it's not audible over engine noise and wind noise from speedbrakes out/gear down on approach.
