Supernova-III Posted Sunday at 06:26 PM Posted Sunday at 06:26 PM I am surprised by the flight model of this module. Comparing to most other DCS modules this one noticeably responds to turbulence, even at altitude. You feel the inertia of the aircraft when turning. So good! The question is, is it still supported? It has some bugs to be fixed, at least known problems. + the manual is unfinished. The startup procedure is not fully described. The module haven't received any updates since DCS 2.9.13.6818 - 19.02.2025 Will it be living? 2
spacefox Posted Sunday at 07:00 PM Posted Sunday at 07:00 PM I waiting to hear from the devs too - there are bugs in training and mission. See my earlier post. I really wanted to train on this module. Not hearing answers from the dev. I also do not want to see posts like the update is coming. I saw all the other posts in the forum, that they have been posted for a while and I just do not know what is going on. If it didn't sell well, then the devs must come and out say it. I bought it based on their dev's name for fsx/p3d models fame. I am weary of their new upcoming module...there will be support in initial years but if you buy it few years later and the module just sits there...I get the feeling that has happened to me with this module. I could be completely wrong also once I hear from the devs. 1 Specs: i7-5820K - 4.3 Ghz HT OC, 64GB Ram, RTX 2070 Super, Quest Pro
Supernova-III Posted Sunday at 07:35 PM Author Posted Sunday at 07:35 PM @spacefox I bought it when it wasn't on sale, for the full price, intentionally, to support the product, cause I really liked it during the test-drive (trial period). So, let's hope we get an answer. The developer is usually very responsive, but doesn't looks like they interested in developing this one... 1

I have a feeling their focus is on MSFS and DCS is put aside (again I am making assumptions) but we did pay for the product license. And support should be provided if the product is being sold; revenue is still being generated (even if it is small). spacefox Posted yesterday at 02:17 AM Posted yesterday at 02:17 AM (edited) Very cool of Dino to respond. Let's hope the DCS Team of IFE can do some updates for this plane and get it patched up. As I stated I have a melancholy answer; I really want to use this plane and do proper training and the campaign which comes with it. I do not have RZ's South Atlantic to do user created campaign in the community files. In the meantime, the plane goes in the hangar for me for now It is excellent in VR by the way PS - Other DCS Devs can you please make some paid campaigns. Also I am not Hrak as seen on this pic, I too had asked similar questions on the Discord channel. Hammer1-1 Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Well, Dino's area of expertise is generally in P3D/MSFS, so its only a given that he wouldnt know much about DCS as a whole. Unlike certain other devs, Ill put my faith in IFT so just be patient. Otto pallen Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I've been an avid supporter of the module. I bought it on Day 1 and flew it on every map I own, including multiplayer missions, obviously with all the plane's limitations. I forgave the months of waiting for everything to work properly, but honestly, four years after the module's release, more than a year was wasted with the plane exploding while taxiing and no one understood why, rendering it unusable. Even today, calibrating the depressurizer on the collimator to use weapons is a lottery. I'm sorry to say it, but they really disappointed me. I know IFE is a capable software house, I can see it from the success of their modules on Flight Simulator, but evidently their interest in DCS is very low, so I don't think I'll buy any more of their modules. Sorry for the outburst, but anyway, I believed, I invested money in a product that then sadly ended up abandoned. 1
