Most likely I‘d love to see it in the Germany CW map. But would be fine here as well for. Maybe Ugra and OnReTech might find together and find a solution to implement it. Potter Posted yesterday at 01:31 AM Posted yesterday at 01:31 AM (edited) Amazing news, definitely looking forward to this map. To the ED team, would you please consider adding Ancona airport please? Although no fighter jet/combat sorties took off from that particular airport for the Balkan war, Ancona proved to be a crucial logistical hub for the U.S and their C130 during humanitarian missions like the airlift to Sarajevo. Giving the latest module released is in fact the glorious C130... It would be awesome to have that historical airstrip available in the game too (it's a pretty small, but full of character little airport). Below, a C130 from the 37th Airlift Squadron taking off from Ancona to Sarajevo for a relief mission, resuming the three year old effort, after a five month hold following the aircraft receiving ground fire over Sarajevo. Cheers Edited yesterday at 02:19 AM by Potter 3

DdayWarrior Posted yesterday at 07:18 AM Posted yesterday at 07:18 AM It would be nice to have a Mig-15 playground in Albania. I understand not wanting to get too spread out, but the Kuçovë base near the city of Berat is of primary importance and the Gjadër Airstrip in the north is fairly simple affair. Kuçove also has modern day significance being a NATO base, as well as the heliport in Farke near Tirana. Of course the Tirana airport is more civilian today, but in the past was also used for the Rinas military base. The Vlorë training base is of secondary importance, but would be nice to have for realistic training missions. Order of importance imho: Kuçovë, Gjadër, and Rinas after that Vlorë, Farkë. Then Kukës would be nice to have for another point to land. Thanks for your attention to the Balkans.
Antartis Posted yesterday at 08:42 AM Posted yesterday at 08:42 AM Is there a possibility that the map could be expanded in the future with additional detail and further phases, similar to what has happened with other maps (e.g. Iraq / Afghanistan)? As someone from Greece, I would personally love to eventually see the entire country represented in DCS. Most of the Greek territory is sea and islands, so a southern expansion might not be as demanding in terms of dense land terrain. Additionally, such an expansion could also potentially allow a future connection with the Sinai map, which would provide tremendous operational value and regional continuity across the Eastern Mediterranean. 2 Asus Prime Z-370-A Intel core I7-8700K 3.70Ghz Ram g.skill f4-3200c16d 32gb Evga rtx 2070 Ssd samgung 960 evo m.2 500gb Syria, Nevada, Persian Gulf, Normandy 1944 Combined Arms A-10C, Mirage-2000C, F-16C, FC3 Spitfire LF Mk. As i understand Afhganistan and Iraq maps only got better detail. No areas were actually added...the map size didn't change..

Being a Greek as well I do agree with your sentiment, especially as it seems that Greece has been deliberately excluded from the detailed part of the map. I do believe however that for Greece to be properly represented we need a dedicated Aegean Sea map. A map specifically focused on the relentless conflict between Greece and Turkey. It seems like a logical choice considering the aircraft lineup we currently have in DCS (F-4, F-16, CH-47, AH-64) and the ones coming shortly (A-7, C-130). Now to be fair I do understand that such a map may create a lot of controversy, as there is a lot of politics involved, especially since both countries are BLUFOR and part of NATO. It also will probably overlap with the Syria map but it wouldn't be the first time such a thing has occurred. Now to return to the point as I have digressed quite a bit. It would certainly be nice to see at the very least some airports in the Greek area, such as Makedonia airport in Thessaloniki be added as it would most definitely add a level of operational complexion to the map and would definitely make more appealing to us Greeks. 3
Vakarian Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Wish @OnReTech all the best for developing this map, very hyped for having a local map in DCS . I would have one request though (and it's a long term one). Given how I was one of the people affected by a very long period of no updates for the Sinai map, please, for the love of all you hold dear/important/holy/whatever, once you release don't wait for another year before pushing new updates. Yes, I'm aware that people with slower internet speeds don't like map patches, however that doesn't mean that there should be year long pause on updates. As there's now roughly once a month patch cycle, please try to squeeze in map updates as frequently as you can. That alone will massively increase the perceived value of the purchase and will help in crowd control. I wasn't too happy with long time of no updates, hopefully I had plenty of other modules and maps to keep me busy but it did leave me with slight doubts will I purchase your next map or not. Please, don't make the same "mistake" twice and keep the updates as frequent as possible. 1 1
Dača Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Greetings @OnReTech, First of all congratulations and a big Thank you for making this map. I can finally land my planes in my backyard. A question. What did you mean by "Pukovnik" airport? If you meant the big one in Belgrade area it is called "Pukovnik-pilot Milenko Pavlović", but that is the name since 2019. Actual name was "Batajnica" and it held that name in period 1951-2019. Morava airport was called "Lađevci" at mentioned timeframe. I think it became "Morava" when it became joint civilian-military airport in 2019. Keep up the good work.
