Q: What copy protection will be used?

A: StarForce online activation (only) will be used. Based on the success of DCS: Black Shark protection, we feel this provides the best compromise of user-friendliness and protection of property. Unlike the reported hardware problems reported with an earlier version of StarForce applied to the original Flaming Cliffs, no such issues have been reported with the current online activation method that does not install any drivers to the user’s computer.

I'll ask for sure when there will be procative version (which work well with my BS) will new FC2 remove older FC's CD check drivers from my old FC CD and install this new one user friendly?

What about payloads?

I hate the way it is done in DCS, without any option to check existing payload (need to load the mission) or to create your own payload.

Most mission creators do not understand what payload is the best one for the ground attack a/c, like they never try to test it in MP.

I second that! Currecntly in BS it is disaster. You can't set skin nor payload. :crazy:

Well, DCS does allow you to tell the ground crew to swap out your armament if you're not happy with it.

Yeah but before you have to edit rearm.lua and paste there CLSIDs ect it is annoying.

I have better things to do :)

One thing I am wondering:

Since it's going to be on the DCS engine now, does that mean that horribly unrealistic "zoom the whole world in as if we had magic super vision" will no longer be usable?

Hopefully, it will not be present in 2.0.

I would imagine zoom levels will be the same as DCS, it would hopefully do away with the unrealistic visual ranges we have in Lockon now.

@JPM1

You need to set the display options from the 'Beginning' rather than just 'Last Day' to get the official views. ;)

Luv it.

The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.
