Cool! Interesting to see the RL pics and "know" basically what every button and switch does!

Though, I wonder what the blacked out thing to the left of the HUD is...?

Yeah is very cool to look at the RL pics and understand most of it :D

I too wonder what the blacked out bit on the HUD is also.. hmm

Notice the extra overhead panel and the number scribed on the panel below the HUD, 4809 as opposed to "our" production KA50 4808. :)

Thought the same thing, and the countermeasures are on the other side with a 2 other boxes to the right. Interesting. So cool to see the real thing and be able to say "damn, I could turn on the strobe light!"

edit: looked like a recorder or something above too. Cool stuff, thanks for the post.

Awesome stuff, thanks for sharing! I wonder if we'd survive flying the real thing based on our experience in DCS:BS? You know - just jump in, start 'er up and take off...

Hell, no way of knowing unless we actually try. Anyone up for a wee James Bond gig getting ourselves one??? :D

I remember seeing a picture on the Russian forums without the censoring. It was just some innocent looking box. Don't know what's the point censoring it. Also, there are no pictures of the cannon. Also censorship?

That's very cool. I had wondered if modifications had been made to DCS:BS at all, like in adding the signal flares for example (they seemed in an odd location and capabilities), but there you go.. they're right there in the pictures too.

Is this chopper operative or it's a kamov prototype?

Prototype. Probably it is good avionics tester too.

Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D

Dunno, looks like a 2-man cockpit to me... a Ka-52 perhaps?

Wow, you can really see the quality of the game in these pics. Every switch's position, function, shape and color is recreated extremely accurate. You can really admire the ED guys for their work just on the cockpit.

Now i have perfect confidence for the A10c's recreation.
