Will the new Su-25 3d model of FC2.0 be included in a patch for DCS:Ka-50? (I gess won't be much difficult to port it as a community mod anyway...)

FC2.0 intergrated into DCS:BS...

or If you have DCS but not getting FC2.0, is that what you mean...

The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.

I don't understand you. I just mean the external 3d model for Su-25.

I think Joey meant that even if it is not patched into DCS:BS, you would be able to mod it in.

I'll see if I can get confirmation to the original question.

he means if a person who doesn't have a FC2.0 can have the new model in DCS as a patch

In reality, I meant regardless if you have or not FC2.0 (in fact, both will have separate installations I suppose).

FC2 and DCS:BS will indeed be separate installs.

As far as I have understood the technology, they can maintain compatibility without transferring models. Still looking to see what the actual word on that is though - no promises though.

I was wondering the same thing if FC2.0 comes out how is BS going to be upgraded to

meet the new model requirements in FC2.0?

I see a DCS BS patch in the near future.. :pilotfly:

Sooner or later, a patch for DCS BS will come with the new sound engine and upgraded models and who knows what else. Not more as a logical statement.

Will you see the new 3d model if a FC2.0 connects to DCS BS without a new DCS BS patch? No...

Buy FC 2.0 and you dont need to worry about it :) That way u are sure to get the extras and support ED at the same time.

Perhaps I'm explaining wrong XD

I'll buy FC2.0 of course, but when I play with DCS:Ka-50 client I wish to see ia or other players Su-25 with the new 3d model from FC2.0, and that won't happen unless ED releases that model in a patch or we mod it.
