Where have you programmed your trim? I tried to program the time to my throttle rotary bands, to little avail :cry: :

I'm loving my x52 pro. I finaly got my profiles set up for FC2 (working to perfect them as I learn more). I decided I wanted to set the trim to the twisting bands on the throttle.

I start by setting the bands to directional Axis. Then I bind Trim up and down on one of them (Rctrl + .) (Rctrl + wink.gif. Then I do the same for the other, but with the trim right and left (Rctrl + /) (Rctrl +,). I test it out using Test Profile, it works fine. I load up the game, load the profile, and it refuses to work ingame.

I tried binding a band to G for landing gear, to see if the band even worked, this seemed to work fine. I try to remap the trim buttons in LOMAC FC2, to different key combinations, and then profiling it in the editor, works fine in test, then still no dice.

Please I really need :helpsmilie:

Much love,

Luza

I use the lower hat on stick. Throttle rotaries are twitchy. I use trim only for russian birds and A-10, though.

Check if Force Feedback is disabled on producer.cfg, this gives troubles with trim if left on.

So it's not possible to program trim to the rotaries? Glad it's not just me with this problem! Will try what you suggest Jack, will reply when I've tried it

hey jack had a look in that file you said it looked like this :

ForceFeedbackEnabled = true;

ForceTrackIR3ProZoomAxisToXAxis = true;

Do i change it to?

ForceFeedbackEnabled = false;

ForceTrackIR3ProZoomAxisToXAxis = true;

I use a hat to trim the Su-25 and Su-25T and the throttle rotaries for the A-10A (don't fly the fast boys). TIR frees up the hat for trim.

Sorry what is TIR?

Sarge how did you get throttle rotaries to work, I tried disabling force feedback, still not working with rotataries, they just make my stick go balistic and not do any commands at anytime when I bind trim to them :<

I actually did not use the Saitek software to program the trim. Instead I just mapped the rotaries directly in the simulation. The thing with FC2 is that you have to map this for every aircraft you fly seperately, as each aircraft has a seperate configuration file.

I´m using the lower hat on Mode 2(Navigation and Flight mode) for trim. Works pretty well as it´s more precise for tiny adjustments. In Mode 1(AttackMode) this hat is assigned for the shkval or other targeting systems.
