The Nevada terrain is looking awesome ... enough to cause virtual homesickness since that was my last duty station in the USAF before I retired back in '81.

I wonder what features will be included with the terrain package? Some that I'd like to see include:

+ Static (and maybe dynamic) airfield features

- Airfield flight line lighting (maybe functional)

- Maintenance and support vehicles

- Taxiway and other airfield directional signs

- The T-birds parked while grabbing lunch at the club :megalol:

+ Nellis Range features

- Different target facilities for bomb and gunnery practice

- Ranges marked with distance circles or markers for assessing accuracy

- Range support buildings and roads modeled for realism

Any chance of learning some of the terrain features?

Lighting, I'm sure, will be there.

Maintenance and support vehicles will be there and be static as always. Would be nice if you radio and they come driving up to rearm and refuel you - little dudes and dudettes running around in camoufalge would be neat and make the place come alive.

Signs

Flyable T-Bird would be even nicer. :D

ED have been taking my money since 1995. :P

Gentelmans, the bar closes in half an hour, what else "would you like" to order?

An Orange or two, a couple of Red, a smattering of Green and definitely a helluva lot of Purple will do me just fine!

NAFB is the home of the USAF Thunderbirds. The navy has the slightly better known blue angels. The air force has the T-birds. I have a picture of the hanger I will upload when I get home. It wild be a cool edition to the base.

LOL indeed. I believe in project speak this is defined as "scope creep"

It never ceases to amaze me, no matter how fantastic any screen shots or vids, the request for bizzare features just never stops.

It never hurts just to ask. Demanding is wrong, but we can always ask. It never hurts to be told no. Anyways, I have been there and lived on the base with freinds for a week or so.

And some NAFB pics.
