padGett201 Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 Using TM Warthog and as far as I know it does not have any problems. In the Target Device Analyzer I can move both throttles from 0-16383. The track is the first mission of the Georgian Hammer campaign. I've kept the default configuration and the mission editor shows total weight of 44,668. Hmm .... interesting to have a look thanks
ralfidude Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 (edited) I took a look at your track. Something was off, and I checked my TM warthog and it does seem like you were at full throttle. But what I suspect it is, is your breaks. I have saitek peddals, and the breaks are by default the other way around. So pressing them down on the toe breakers actually releases breaks. This needs to be fixed in the controls menu for your pedals, where you check the "Invert" box. Then your breaks should work the right way. Pressing down on toe breakers will activate breaks. Also I was looking at your rudder pedals, and you barely even used them. There is something wrong with your pedal assigment me thinks for sure. PS: I know you said you checked your breaks, but check them again. When your on the runway, throttle up a bit till you start rolling, throttle back, and apply breaks. If your plane doesnt stop, well... there ya go! Edited February 22, 2012 by ralfidude [sIGPIC]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b66/ralfidude/redofullalmost_zpsa942f3fe.gif[/sIGPIC]
159th_Viper Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 But what I suspect it is, is your breaks. Correct. Your brakes are engaged. Longjap Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 Hi guys and gals, I have a quick question about possible views. I recently saw a video where the player could quickly jump to a view of either one of the MFCD's up close and up front. I can't seem to find the right command to do that. Could someone help me out? Oh and another question; may it be possible to bind your toebrakes to your throttle with a modifier? Thx in advance!
JS Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 Look for "snap views" in the controls, I think that's what they are called. There are several very useful views here, for getting a better look at the cockpit instruments, the MFCD:s, and some other views.

Hold NumPad "0" then press NumPad "4" or "5" for the MFCDs. <CTRL>+NumPad "0" for a switch, just NumPad "0" or any other view to revert back to normal... try "1" for Radios and "3" for TACAN / ILS views. Longjap Posted March 7, 2012 Posted March 7, 2012 Thx for the replies! It works, wish i could fixate it somehow though and not have to hold the button to keep the view.

PEANUT Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 Thankyou 159th Viper for your reply.Do I need only the 1.1.1.1 patch or do I need to download .0,.1,.2,.etc ? Cheers PEANUT
PEANUT Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 OK,I am a new pilot on the block,so I have much to learn about this sim ,would someone please explain why every down-load I have requires a PASSWORD? I don't have a clue as to which password it wants. So if someone would let me I on the secret,I might be able to get off the ground. Thankyou PEANUT
nomdeplume Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 Thankyou 159th Viper for your reply.Do I need only the 1.1.1.1 patch or do I need to download .0,.1,.2,.etc ? If you want to use patches, you should first check what version you're currently running, and then download all the subsequent patches. In more recent versions of the game you can see the full version number in the splash screen that appears when you launch it. If it only shows three digits (e.g. "1.1.1") then you've got an older version; you can find the full version number by going to the mission editor and selecting Misc -> Credits from the menu at the top. However, I would very very strongly recommend just downloading the full installation of the latest version (1.1.1.1) and just install that. There's no point using patches when you're doing a new install anyway, and it just introduces needless complexities. OK,I am a new pilot on the block,so I have much to learn about this sim ,would someone please explain why every down-load I have requires a PASSWORD? I don't have a clue as to which password it wants. So if someone would let me I on the secret,I might be able to get off the ground. I'm not sure what you mean. If you're being prompted for a password when you click the download link, it's probably because you're trying to download from an FTP server which is full. When it refuses to allow access, many browsers interept it as a request for authentication. Just try a different mirror for that file; or use the torrent at the very bottom of the page.
Sarge55 Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 That's odd. I just tried it and no password required. Once I logged in to the DCS site I could download freely. Realize that's not necessarily helpful in solving your case but at least it's not an issue with the site. Check the FAQ and User Support on the home page. Doh! Zeth Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 Is it possible to fly a SP mission as a wingman instead of lead? If so, how ?
nomdeplume Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 Is it possible to fly a SP mission as a wingman instead of lead? If so, how ? No, the AI is not capable of commanding a player.
ralfidude Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 Because if it did, SKYNET would take over. Also, it would annoy the hell out of you. [sIGPIC]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b66/ralfidude/redofullalmost_zpsa942f3fe.gif[/sIGPIC]
Sarge55 Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 If you just want to fly formation with them I remember reading once you can set up an AI flight and have them take off fly a route and land. All you have to do is fly with them. I have zero knowledge of mission editor but I'm sure someone who does can jump in and confirm or deny it. Seems possible from a laymans view...
