I need to find Mitch's Oregon Nat'l Guard skin again...that ones my all time favorite skin.

I assume you know but just in case: http://www.lockonfiles.com. Just search for "Oregon" in the Download section. It's the only F-15 skin I've flown.

That is a very good skin. I'm using it right now.

 

The F-15 schemes, like the Su-27, seem to be difficult to nail. To my eyes, some of the real mod eagle schemes look more blue colored than some modders are willing to make them. I make an exception for the Oregon ANG one since it looks sooooo good. :)

 

The only other Eagle skins I use are a set D-scythe made that replace all but one of the skins. In my opinion, those are the most true to life skins in terms of a non-specific F-15 paint scheme. I've never heard anyone talk about D-scythe's skins around here, but he really is quite good at it. I'm using his MiG-29 ones too. All of them can be found at lockonfiles.

At the moment, im fixing the skin on some places(airbrakes, gear, etc.). I will let you guys know, when i release that skin.

Thanks. :) Glad you enjoyed them. Doing okay but much too busy. Working on a new F-15 tutorial (TWS) in my spare time.

1) Terrain Textures: SimMod's Lockon Reload with Ruggbutt's Terrain Enhancement (mainly for the autumn textures).

 

2) TekaTeka's Tree Shader Mod 2.0.

 

3) HAWG11's Realistic Sized Sun Mod and Antonio Gatti's SkyColorMod 1.2

 

4) Kys's Afterburner Mod - Long

 

Glad you like them and thanks for the compliment. :) I enjoy photography and it's been fun setting these up as photos. All have been Photoshopped to a degree. This last set were only sharpened to compensate for the loss of sharpness in the size reduction process, since the SkyColorMod goes a long way to making the sky feel more "real". In a few of the earlier ones, I also played with the contrast and gamma a bit. In one or two I've also increased the color saturation a small amount.

 

The clouds are default and, in the last two sets, I've been experimenting with Kys's SkyColorMod which is great. (Don't know why it took me this long to install it.) Mission date and time also play a large part in the "feel" of the sky in this sim. Anyone who only uses the Editor's default settings is missing a great deal of "mood" possibilities.
