Bucic Posted October 7, 2010 Posted October 7, 2010 (edited) You've killed Pumbaa?! Timon and Pumbaa last seen... Knowing their friendship and companionship I'd say you're already dead. Have you seen Timon around then? That's right, he's hunting you now :) That'll teach you. A hog is down when it's down, but you're not safe until his wingman is still out there. did you eat him afterward? On the spot! No wonder, it looks delicious :megalol: Edited October 7, 2010 by Bucic 1 F-5E simpit cockpit dimensions and flight controls Kill the Bloom - shader glow mod Poor audio Doppler effect in DCS [bug] Trees - huge performance hit especially up close
jpm1 Posted October 7, 2010 Posted October 7, 2010 i have nothing against hunting since the animal has a chance (and you eat the prey obviously) . i don't think shooting from miles away with a sights mounted rifle is very fair 1 SU-25 missions [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Hand an optic sight to the hog. If it doesn't take it, it means it accepts the imbalance :) F-5E simpit cockpit dimensions and flight controls Kill the Bloom - shader glow mod Poor audio Doppler effect in DCS [bug] Trees - huge performance hit especially up close
Namenlos Ein Posted October 7, 2010 Posted October 7, 2010 did you eat him afterward? If him didn't it then somebody did. It's Africa! Next time watch the road signs.

Not sure there's anything fair about killing in general. Steel Jaw Posted October 7, 2010 Posted October 7, 2010 Can't excuse this. Its just disgusting. Almost as disgusting as playing an A10 driver and killing by the dozens from the air. topol-m Posted October 9, 2010 Posted October 9, 2010 Almost as disgusting as playing an A10 driver and killing by the dozens from the air. A-10 + Gau-8 can feed a whole african village with warthogs, and wilderbeasts in no time. Gotta have a lot of trucks to load them though... [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Jinro Posted October 9, 2010 Posted October 9, 2010 No offense but I truly hate seeing animals wasted for the sake of killing. Here in my area of the States wild hogs are so overpopulated that they're tearing up farmland. If you don't kill them then say good-bye to your crops.
vrv Posted October 9, 2010 Posted October 9, 2010 Down in Central Florida it's the same story. They are all over the place even with a perpetual hunting season for boar, warthog, etc. going on. I actually saw a mother and some of her babies at this wildlife management area but I decided it was best to stay clear. jpm1 Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 i put the rifle in the cupboard long time ago but haemorrhagic arrows are as efficient as bullets if not more . the thing is you need to do it the old way , to come closer to the target and of course there are risks , that's why i said the prey has a chance . it's a bit like with the SU-25 you need to respect the adversary . only you and you adversary , i love that bird , i love hogs too ... the animal i mean :D SU-25 missions [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
BoneDust Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 Ugly buggers eh. I'm curious if people offended by this eat at McDondald's or enjoy a good steak, or eat lettuce? Everything we eat was alive. Life sustains life. I agree trophery hunting is not right, but other then that we need to eat. Jinro Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 lot of things have been abolished in human history Japan indirectly abolished hunting by abolishing firearms--as a result Hokkaido (which is only good for agriculture and Sapporo beer) is overrun by deer because there's nothing to hunt and eat them.
jpm1 Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 in most of cases overpopulations of animals are caused by human activity who destroyed the predators habitats . i don't want to hijack the thread i stop it there SU-25 missions [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
