ESzczesniak Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 Guys, I will have a steady supply No worries ! Shopblt really shocked me with there price since stick cost is more then they were charging. Honestly, I think someone over there made a big mistake! How do we know when you have them instock actually. The webpage seems like it would allow me to order them as if they were in stock right now. Given that I think I would likely pay $515 from BLT, I'd be happy to order from you at any point I know they are in stock.
71st_Mastiff Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 I will cancel my order in the morn with BLT I have ordered from you film just one min ago. so please special transport tonight? jump in your plane and come out to imperial valley , ca they have a airport here call me when your here and Ill come and get it. Flim Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 I just saw your PM, right now I'm only taking paypal , but working on a newer store front which will allow direct payment. I placed an order yesterday for more... should have them fairly quick, end of the week to first of next. My turnaround is pretty quick since this is all I do( besides my flying Job).
Callsign.Vega Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 If BLT tries and charges me $515 I'll likely cancel. Supposedly their email says that if the price changes they have to contact you first to confirm before they ship. There are still tons of shops listing the Warthog Hotas at low-$400's. Would be a total bait and switch if they do raise the price that high. If they didn't have any accurate pricing for the pre-order they should not have set such a low price. kylania Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 If BLT tries and charges me $515 I'll likely cancel. The issue with BLT isn't a bait/switch price change, which is highly unlikely. It's the fact that they aren't getting stock till a month after everyone else. It's the fact that they aren't getting stock till a month after everyone else. Who now has stock before BLT in the USA? The one person mentioned in this thread? What price? Where do you get that they will not have stock till a month after every one else? I would guess that it is likely BLT will get them when most every one else in the USA does, or so I would hope. I still say it is a little early for a BLT hanging at dawn. ;) HOG HOG HOG HOG HOG! :joystick: Out http://www.104thphoenix.com/
ESzczesniak Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 ...I still say it is a little early for a BLT hanging at dawn... I do agree with that, although I am switching my order to a place I'll likely get it a little earlier from. It costs a bit more than the original BLT price, but I can't ever get answers from ShopBLT's customer service. I can at the new shop. What worries me about BLT and that there may be issues is 1) some vendors have mentioned that BLT's original price was less than wholesale and 2) when other shops are struggling to get 10-20, they supposedly have over 200 on the way. It may all be very legitimate, but I am a little curious on these two points. Seeing as I can't get any answers from their customer service, speculation just grows.

What do you mean you can't get any answers? They are likely waiting to receive their first shipments just like almost everyone else. Until there are at least a few other places in the USA that actually have it in stock and ready to ship I am not going to cancel my order or pass judgment. I would rather remain cautiously optimistic for just a little bit longer. HOG HOG HOG HOG! :D Out Edited November 3, 2010 by PoleCat http://www.104thphoenix.com/
TwoLate Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 You wonder if BLT maybe screwed up on price and are hoping a lot of preorders will drop off. Hate to think that way. Maybe a few more days will tell. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Slammin Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 You wonder if BLT maybe screwed up on price and are hoping a lot of preorders will drop off. Hate to think that way. Maybe a few more days will tell. I'd rather think they posted an introduction discounted price to drum up business. This seems especially likely when you look at the number of units they have on order. As far as them answering each and every "Do you have them yet?". Are we there yet. Are we there yet? Are we there yet? Get the picture? The explaination on the web site is pretty clear: "This product is not in stock at this time, but is on order with the manufacturer. The ETA's are estimates of when we expect to receive shipments from the manufacturer. ETA's are not guaranteed arrival dates and are subject to change. The fastest way to obtain this item is to place an order online now to secure your position in line, and we won't charge you until your order ships!" I'm not sure what kind of answer to expect if I were to ask them if the units are there yet. I'm sure the answer would be something to the effect of, "No". kylania Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 Slammin, the point is that they originally said Oct 20th, then Oct 26th, then Nov 2nd, then Nov 4th, then Nov 10th, then None, then Nov 23rd... never once justifying or explaining to their customers (yes, we're customers even though we haven't paid yet) why the item they were supposed to have last month isn't available till next month. Then they jump the price by $110. If you were in a cab and offered a ride to Boston, but instead it drove to Chicago, then Minneapolis, then Denver, then Las Vegas, then San Diego you'd have every right to ask "Are we there yet and why the hell are we going to San Diego when you said Boston when I got in this cab!?" Just as you've observed, as they saw a date slip, they posted an update. With the sparse availability, what would your best guess be as the the cause of the dates slipping? Do they owe you a detailed explaination in addition to the one they already provide? I suspect the price jump was planned. I think the introductory price was intentional. I hope it all works out well for you but I wouldn't be a bit surprised if BLT gets theirs on the same day and for your impatience you end up paying almost 100USD more. Who are you trying to punish BLT or yourself? ;) So far IMHO the complaints against them are baseless. As I said though I do hope it works out for you and you get it sooner for your frustrations. Mad Dog 7.62 Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 Well, I gave up on BLT too, ordered from elsewhere, and have a Warthog inbound and a UPS tracking number in hand. A Warthog in the hand is better than......a BLT pre-order that may or may not show up and may or may not cost what they said it would when I ordered it. I think what is frustrating to people is the fact that some of us ordered from BLT months ago, when they seemed to be the only ones taking pre-orders...and now several months later I end up getting the stick by ordering it from someone else who ships it the same day I order it while BLT has nothing and doesn't seem to be willing to tell me anything. What was the point of the pre-order?? braden Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 only 70 orders, 172 incoming now... they've had some in and started shipping ? loads of people cancelled and theyve adjusted their incoming order accordingly? they've culled the $404 preorder orders ?

Hmm, interesting. Didn't they have 117 listed before for pre-orders? I doubt a full 50 people cancelled their orders. I was one of the first that pre-ordered and have not had any updates on the order for a couple of weeks now. I doubt they are shipping anything yet. I also doubt they just culled the $404 pre-order's as that would really piss off a lot of customers. It is strange because I have ordered through BLT before and they did really well. They also have a real high re-seller rating. Maybe they just got fed up about hundreds of people emailing them about shipment status constantly. GPU: RTX 4090 - 3,000 MHz core / 12,000 MHz VRAM. It was 115 a few hours when I canceled, and I know of two more since than. Probably not 67 people though. More likely they finally get in their Oct 20/26th ETA stock.
