It took some time, but it worked. As far as the width and height, not that did literally adjust the width and hight of the MFD's them selves. The X coord raised and lowered and the Y coord move them from side to side. juankeiko Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 Hello everyone. I need your help setting up screens and configure the + Camera + RMFCD.Lua LMFCD I have, as some of you, The Thrustmaster MFCD and would like to help me with this please. The first screen is an Acer 32 "Maximum resolution: 1360x768. (The Samsung 42", my wife would kill me if i Used it for the Simulator, hehe). The second screen is an Acer 19 "Maximum resolution: 1366 x 768. I want to use the second screen ACER 19 "Maximum resolution: 1366 x 768 for both Thrustmaster MFCD. Could you tell me the exact values for both monitors to modify the + Camera + RMFCD.Lua LMFCD? I have advanced the cabin, but until it has completed the front of the cockpit I would use both monitors. Im missing a step here? Probably not.. editing on the fly works when editing the multimonitor file only..and this comment was added before it was possible to add RWR, CDUs etc, adding these require other files to get working, so this line might be misleading when working with those. It certainly used to work fine when just dealing with the MFCDs. There have been probably 8 versions of a-10c since I originally wrote this, and even though i have regularly updated it.. this line may now be inaccurate. Fakum Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 Well,, with that information, I went back and loaded up the "Multi Monitor.lua" that I created just for the (2) MFCD's,,, I had some adj to make and I figured I would do it on the fly,,,,, I had the same results? I would edit the file in Notepad++ while I had an instant action mission paused,,, Alt-Tab to bring up the file, make the change, save it and then Alt-Tab back in,,, no change? I would have to exit out of the mission to the debriefing page, then load another mission and it was only then I would see the change? So not so much on the fly back and forth loading and exiting out of missions for me,,,, does that sound right? Does everyone else need to do the same? If you don't get the results you want simply quit flight, alt tab, edit the file, alt tab back and click fly again You cant pause the flight.. you have to quit the flight. Make the changes then click flay again. This saves you having to restart the game, but you can't make changes without quitting the actual flight. Fakum Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 Ok,, Im getting really annoyed with this,,, I have no issue setting up the left and right mfcd’s on my 2nd monitor,,, what im seeing is this,,, once the .lua file is all set, saved and everything lines up real nice on my 2nd monitor, if I exit out of the game,, shut the PC down or just restart it, and I load a mission up again,,, although I have made NO changes to the .lua file,,, the MFCDs shift up the screen about 200 pixels or so? I have to go back into the .lua file and adjust ONLY the “y” value to shift it down again,,,of course this becomes a totally different value all together. The width and height are still ok? This may be a factor, I don’t know? My 2nd monitor is physically on the LEFT side of the main monitor (It HAS to be that way). The main monitor is typically in a 1680x1050 resolution and the 2nd monitor is in a 1152x864. Before I start the game, I right click on the desktop, and in the screen resolution options I move the 2nd monitor to the RIGHT of the main, and change the main monitor resolution to 2560x1600. This works just fine once I have the multi monitor lua file set,,, all is well,,, until,,, like I said,, I exit out, shut down the PC or restart it and load up the game again? Any thoughts?
