Wouldn't that be the same as buying the game in one store then asking from another store to give you a copy (or in this case download) for free because you bought it already? Thats for ED to sort out with Steam, its been done before with other titles. I purchased Company of Heroes, X3:Terran Conflict and AvP as a DVD originally but I play them through Steam now without having paid Steam anything extra for those titles.

I'm finally getting the hang of some things and running some full campaign missions and they keep crashing on me out of the blue. I realized something as I was hugging the ground under dense cloud cover seeing the hillsides fly past... We need sheep. Or at least a few cows or something.. :) Something to pass the time during the longer distance runs.. :) Do they even have sheep in Georgia? :) Just kidding.. Im soo enjoying this simulator. I can't wait to see it when it is done! In the meantime I'm getting tired of reloading over and over.. --- May your takeoffs equal your landings!

You should look at the manual, I had trouble wrapping my head around the concepts he put in there, and didn't pay any attention at all to the buttons the first time around. RogueRunner Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 I've just loaded the game last night again after about a month of not playing it and ran into the same small issue with IR missile launch detection again. I do not see this fixed in the list provided my Wags. The issue is that your launch detector will only give a warning tone to a missile launched at you. If launched at your wingie it stays silent. This should not be the case!! Hope to see it fixed in a later version then. With the price of ammunition these days do not expect a warning shot.

Forgive me as I've not read into A10's manual in detail so it's entirely possible that there's some system (real and simulated) that I don't know about. I certainly don't claim to know everything! In the absence of such system...why would you get a launch detection on an IR missile at all, no matter who it's fired at? I would only expect a launch warning when you've had a radar homing missile fired at you. It is my understanding that this sort of detection works off the radar wavelength and PRF to tell when a radar system has gone from track to guidance mode and is focused on you. "Tank!
