Steel Jaw Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 simware is smoking or injecting something. "You see, IronHand is my thing" My specs: W10 Pro, I5/11600K o/c to 4800 @1.32v, 64 GB 3200 XML RAM, Red Dragon 7800XT/16GB, monitor: GIGABYTE M32QC 32" (31.5" Viewable) QHD 2560 x 1440 (2K) 165Hz.
Boberro Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 Yeah they write whatever they want. All what is not said by ED is not worthy at all in this matter. Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D ಠ_ಠ ツ
Funkyjazz Posted January 5, 2011 Author Posted January 5, 2011 No. It will be released when it is done, whenever that is. There is no such thing as a release date for ED products :) Nate Right...then i erase my joyful feeling and head back to FC 2.0 (which is also very nice!!) joey45 Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 You will know the date when it is posted on here and now where else... The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. hassata Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 I think the crew isn't back until the 10th? So not before that. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
jctrnacty Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 this release date seems quite convincing because beta 4 is mature enough and those 3 month is enough time to put this sim on the shelf. [sigpic][/sigpic] MB MSI x570 Prestige Creation, RYzen 9 3900X, 32 Gb Ram 3333MHz, cooler Dark rock PRO 4, eVGA 1080Ti, 32 inch BenQ 32011pt, saitek X52Pro, HP Reverb, win 10 64bit
Mustang Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 Right...then i erase my joyful feeling and head back to FC 2.0 (which is also very nice!!) You could always buy DCS A-10C now and enjoy it in it's Beta 4 state :)
Funkyjazz Posted January 6, 2011 Author Posted January 6, 2011 You could always buy DCS A-10C now and enjoy it in it's Beta 4 state :) Well...i would love to but for my own protection (gap in my hand as it comes to PC related stuff incl. games and sims), i do not own a credit card... Right now FC 2.0 is good enough for me. Learning the system of a plane is "easy" as soon as you have the hang of all assigned buttons with their correct functions. Dodging sams and triplle A is another story. So i made a mission with a load of sams and tripple A and all i do is trying to get from A to B. So far i havent been able to reach my homeplate...:music_whistling:. I have learned this mission from an old FA-18 game. Bombing or attacking a target is easy...avoiding being detected by Anti Air or Fighters is the real deal. Anyways...i wait for the gold release of the A-10. Stupid from Simware to put a release date on their site. bradleyjs Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 Funkyjazz - if you like FC 2.0 -- you'll trully love the A-10C sim !!! Dejjvid Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 But start reading the manual. Going from FC2 to DCS is a huuuge step in fidelity.. 1 i7 8700K | GTX 1080 Ti | 32GB RAM | 500GB M.2 SSD | TIR5 w/ Trackclip Pro | TM Hotas Warthog | Saitek Pro Flight Rudder [sigpic]http://www.132virtualwing.org[/sigpic]
Steel Jaw Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 But start reading the manual. Going from FC2 to DCS is a huuuge step in fidelity.. Aye. "You see, IronHand is my thing" My specs: W10 Pro, I5/11600K o/c to 4800 @1.32v, 64 GB 3200 XML RAM, Red Dragon 7800XT/16GB, monitor: GIGABYTE M32QC 32" (31.5" Viewable) QHD 2560 x 1440 (2K) 165Hz.
Funkyjazz Posted January 7, 2011 Author Posted January 7, 2011 But start reading the manual. Going from FC2 to DCS is a huuuge step in fidelity.. Well, i have DL-ed the guide but its hard for me to "learn" without the actual cockpit in front of me. I guess the hardest part will be the radio communication from what i have seen so far. For me the comms in FC 2.0 are hard to deal. I have set them with Macro's on my Logitech G110, but still then it distracts me. When i concentrate on my CCIP run i cant listen to the wingmen. My brain work as a single core CPU, not a dual:( Without sollutions there aren't any problems CASE: CM 690 II / PSU: CM 750 Realpower / MB: MSI P55 GD65 / CPU: I7-860 @ 3,8 GHZ / MEM: 4x2GB OCZ 1866 Platinum / SB: Creative X-FI Extreme gamer / GPU: ASUS GTX 275 / HD: 2 x Samsung F1 1 GB / OS: WIN 7 64 Bit H.E. / MON: 1 x Samsung Syncmaster P2770HD & 1 x Samsung syncmaster 940bf / Logitech G27 / logitech G110 / Logitech M705 / Logitech Extreme 3D pro / Saitek Proflight Yoke, 2 USB Throttle controllers & rudders / TrackIR 4.0 /
jazjar Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 Making a wild guess here, if it is released winter 2011, that means that we have DCS: Tornado Gr.4 or whatever ( ahhhh I wish! ) in 2015. How exciting is that, people! :) just kidding! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
sobek Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 When i concentrate on my CCIP run i cant listen to the wingmen. My brain work as a single core CPU, not a dual:( In time the tasks take less CPU cycles to complete, so multitasking gets easier :) Good, fast, cheap. Choose any two. Come let's eat grandpa! MemphisBelle Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 I always thought that Beta 4 would only cause trouble. But now when I installed the latest one, I am so much impressed about the huuuuuge step forward this SIM made, that I doesnt really care about an approximate release date since I have so much fun right now. It only can become better and this is sooooooooooooo awesome!!!... Love you ED  BlackSharkDen | BSD Discord | DCS Tutorial Collection
joey45 Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 Well...i would love to but for my own protection (gap in my hand as it comes to PC related stuff incl. games and sims), i do not own a credit card.... I try your debit card or these one time use on-line credit cards [put only the amount you need on it ] orrrrr get a friend or family member. The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. S77th-konkussion Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 Isn't Simware the site that has been publishing 100% imaginary release dates for ED material since LOMAC 1.0? By now- this has earned a place in the FAQ's.. even though few read them.. [sIGPIC]http://forums.eagle.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=43337&d=1287169113[/sIGPIC]
Funkyjazz Posted January 9, 2011 Author Posted January 9, 2011 I try your debit card or these one time use on-line credit cards [put only the amount you need on it ] orrrrr get a friend or family member. Thought about a famliy member but im gonna stick to FC 2.0 for so long. I have a real hard time with those ir sams... Takeoff, setting AG weapons, fly to wz, giving my wm an order to engage....boom...he's gone:cry:. Okidoki...then i have to save the world. Ingress, flares, aim,...right eye corner smoke trail. Hard bank, flares...flares...flaBOOM...ACS FAILURE...RIGHT ENGINE FIRE...LEFT ENG...eject eject eject... Everytime again... Si if i cant fly FC 2.0 how will i be able to master the sam skills in A-10..
