I will always support ED and any sim they produce because they are one of the last studios that produces flightsims for us!!! All sim maniacs. It sounds childisch when someone say "i will not buy this sim because its US or Russian aircraft." H-street Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 if you can find it, they used to have a list of the plans for aircraft releases.. they seem to have removed it but i'm sure somebody can find it again.
H-street Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 also one question is did they stop developing the AH64? in their original FAQ it said Q: Your press release indicates that Black Shark is the first in a series of DCS modules, with more aircraft/helicopters to follow. How soon will these new aircraft become available? A: We are already developing the A-10A “Warthog" and AH-64A “Apache” (with planned front-seat / back-seat multiplayer) and other western and eastern aircraft will follow with an approximate interval of every nine months. To annouce these later aircraft now would be premature because plans can often change and lead to delays due to numerous factors such as our work in the equally important military simulation market.
mic1184 Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 LOL, what if you are right ? :D i hope he is. i love the A-10. i'd even buy DCS:A-10A if they made a kosovo map for it ;-) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] MB: DFI Lanparty UT P35-T2R CPU: Core 2 Quad Q6600 G0 @ 3,6 GHz @ 1,328V VGA: MSI GTX460 HAWK @ 850/1700/1000 MHz MFCD: Eizo S2231 22" S-PVA RAM: A-Data Vitesta 2 x 2048 MB @ 960 MHz FLT EQPM: Saitek X-52 Pro, TrackIR 5

While the A-10A Suite 2 module will still likely follow the Black Shark, the following aircraft are also now planned for DCS in development at one stage or another: 1- A-10A Suite 2 (latest version of A-10A in active use) 2- A-10C Suite 3 (...) baton_bb Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 Definte wow factor there. I think, it`s a simple. Matt Wagner worked for EA Jane’s Combat Simulations team (proof: http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2009/01/18/matt-wagner-on-black-shark/ and http://www.migman.com/sw/FA18_Janes/links.php ) , and he has co-created Jane`s F/A-18. He knows this plane, he has experience with this type of the plane. And I think, if they ( Jane`s team with Matt Wagner on board) have bought a license first time for the Jane`s F/A-18 Hornet, they would not any problems to purchase this license again for ED (believe me, a license = a luxury merchandise, a big money and an hours of negotiations). Matt did it a few years ago. ED have all, what is need. What for new problems with other plane? Best regards for All!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
kingneptune117 Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 they are not going off his past work experience, they are going off the contract they have. Also, since it has been announced that it will be a US fixed wing aircraft, the only two aircraft left on the list would be the F-15 and F-16. My guess is that it would be one of these two. They have never even hinted at making an F18. So who'd want an F-14 sim? The Iranians? Im pretty sure the US Government doesnt want the Iranians to get their hands on anything from the D-model, even if its just systems modeled in a computer simulation. I still think we're talking about a Viper...
Rikus Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 Is the DCS:BS not a Russian flyable? Was the Russian Su-25/T not the only advanced flight model in FC? Have we not been stuck in a Russian/Georgian theater since LOMAC? Was the only flyable naval aircraft in Lock On not Russian? Was there not only 2 American flyables in Lock On and 6 Russian/German ones? Ka50 is a helicopter, and there are much people like me who donґt like helicopters. Next DCS was A10, fixed wing for USA guys No was the turn of a russian plane :P LOMAC has more russian planes because comes from "Flanker" series. Greetings
