We are using to much stuff here and the world is getting smaller. Also, I'm tired of paying an arm and a leg for gas, when we have all this gas in Alaska!

Dinosaurs?

We have orbit tracks for all such rocks, and they're not going to hit. The ones we are worried about are citykillers, not planetkillers. Don't go biblical without checking the information...

EDIT: Not to mention the fact that deflecting a rock coming at us is easy. The ones that can end civilization are large enough that we'll find them early. All we then need to do is park a 2 tonne satellite next to them. The gravitation of the satellite will be enough to deflect the rock and we're fine.

US: 0.67 euro per liter?

Europe: 1.42 euro per liter! (max Norway 1.75, lowest Bulgaria 1.14 euro per liter)

I don't like the lack of transparency in the recent development. And also the japanese government should get more involved, I find it strange that they have to ask the Power Company for more or accurate data. This is unacceptable, since is doesn't concern the nuclear facility but whole Japan and actually the whole world.

ZAMG continues to publish distribution data and they are slowly able to draw some conclusions on quantities with CTBTO data. Unfortunately, no translation is available for the latest articles.

Finally they decided to scrap the damaged reactors. Hopefully they bury everything under steel and that's that.

IMO that is way the whole operation didn't move quickly, because the company wanted to save their power plant (eventually on the cost of leaked radiation)

I don't know what you will do after I tell you that potassium in your body has bigger radioactivity then the iodine in the concentration it currently has.

Here they estimated the activity of iodine to be around 0,1 Bq/m3, while the potassium in human body has the activity of 4000 Bq...

I hope you are under the supervision of a doctor, iodine tablets cause hyperthyroidism. Given the concentrations that have been picked up in Europe, i find that a little extreme, but it's your choice, i guess.
