Highwayman-Ed Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 I bought i Control DCS Full feature but I am not able to make it work. When I open in the windows A-10C VC Server (for DCS alone), Device is green but SIM is red. In the DCS Option I selected A-10C Virtual Cockpit server. In the program files/Eagle Dynamics/DCS A-10C/Config/MonitorSetup I found also A-10 Virtual Cockpit Server.lua.A10Original.BAK (BAK File) I don't know what I have to do. Thanks for all your advice. Lion Sorry if this sounds like a really basic question, but have you actually been flying in game and it's not working? The Server connection isn't made until the Fly button is pressed and the simulation engine loads... Note, that since you're using Helios, this might mess things up with your display configuration for Helios and you may need to manually edit/merge your old/new display configuration lua files. iControl DCS/DCS Virtual Cockpit - Full featured iPad Cockpit - Now with Android support! wolfstone Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 Hi thanks for the quick answer , yeah i did that i can then move the cdu display any where on my monitors , but i thought it was meant to be on the ipad with the CDU ..and i cannot get it there the cdu panal is working buttons and such but there is no display. apart fro that every thing is ok and its a great little program.
Prophet Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 (edited) I can't get any of the displays to show. I have created the virtual display just like in all the tutorials, yet all I get is the desktop showing instead of the MFD or CDU. NVM. Had to manually edit the options.lua in the saved games folder. Works great now! Edited October 17, 2012 by =Prophet=

jimbo0270 Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 I have spent all day trying to get a virtual display to work with TightVNC and Demo Forge's Mirage driver and cannot seem to get it to work. Does anyone know where I can find easy to follow directions for this? or offer some type of assistance so that I can get iControl to work in addition to my three monitors?

Does anyone know where I can find easy to follow directions for this? or offer some type of assistance so that I can get iControl to work in addition to my three monitors? While I've not used the Mirage driver I DO know that it absolutely will not work in Windows 8, so if you're trying to use it there, it will not work. If you've got 3 monitors I'd just suggest sticking the MFCDs off in the far corners, you'll pretty much never even notice them :) iControl DCS/DCS Virtual Cockpit - Full featured iPad Cockpit - Now with Android support! jimbo0270 Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 Thanks, I am not using Win8 but I would stick them in the corners if I could figure out how to do that. I can only find info on putting them on there own screens. In game/3rd person, I have them but when I go to in cockpit view they go away and cannot find anything in the settings to enable them or disable them.

sobe Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 (edited) Okay. I just read the review in SimHq and am now interested in getting the IControl for my A-10. However, I have a few questions. I presently have 2 monitors with the TM MFDs on my second monitor. My questions are: 1. Can I continue to run the TM MFDs on my 2nd monitor and use the IPad/Icontrol for everything else? 2. Will the MFD's appear twice, once on the TM's and again on the IControl? 3. Do I use the second monitor as the virtual monitor for the MFD's from the primary monitors? Or can I just move the MFDs from my primary monitor that are in the upper corners and move them to my TM MFDs on the second monitor? 4. Is it worth trying out the free version to test the above or just go to the paid version-the price is really not an issue-just don't want to have to do everything twice if it all is going to work nicely. 5. I assume that IControl plays nicely with the WH controllers that I just got as a birthday present and love (I have even programmed the LEDs).
