CDU Tutorial: pre release snippet - CDU Offset.

Just to tide over until the full release. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

 

 

All the pages and buttons will be explained in the final release, along with everything else to do with the CDU, which will be released asap.

Just a slight constructive criticism. Instead of saying "press this button" or "rocker switch" etc. give the proper names like "OSB9" or "LSK5". Also When you are describing what to set on the UFC to get into the Offset page instead of saying click this, and circling it with your mouse, say "Press Function 4" or "Function button then 4". Remember there will be people watching and listening to this while flying to learn it. And some will even have their manuals open and will need the proper names to lookup what you are talking about.

As it’s based on 2d coordinates, you can end up looking at 'air' through the TGP. Being able to reset the coordinate to ground level after creating it would be really helpful.

Sorry can't edit the sound files due to an organisation cock up :doh:. sorry.:(

In the other parts of the video I will be sure to implement this type of button descriptions for learning on the fly.

Update: All going well .... The method I'm adding my voice and the games sound is very time consuming and the encoding and uploading to YouTube is also a pain but it's all going well. It all includes a CDU interface overview, Overview of many of the main pages, CDU Offset, bla bla. It'l be up eventually. Thanks :thumbup:
