One has to realize that it's not police officers who are 'wussies'. They're tied up by regulations. You can be sure that if the order was "engage at will!" there would be more than one police officer with multiple "kills" painted on the side of his car before the end of the week.

Correct, but the whole circle looks like this: Capitalism thrives on stupidity, therefore supports the parties who encourage stupidity, and the stupid..well they buy.. (or loot).

Riots do not occur just because of one unresolved police killing. I am convinced that the causes for these riots in UK are much deeper, political and social in nature. People, in masses, don't just go out to burn buildings for fun. BBC is reporting that rioting is spreading and three people were killed while protecting property.

There are a few suicidal ideas that when eliminated could radically improve the functioning of a state without taking away voting rights from stupidos. There are many >simple< solutions dropping multiculti and cutting off banksters for example (and for starters). But none of them deals with the problem of scum breeding faster than the rest of the society. I mean you don't expect that the rioters are interested in any solutions except higher social benefits and weaker police, do you?

As despicable as these actions are, i can't help but feel that currently (not only the British, i sense a like development in Austria too, albeit not as grave by a large margin) government policy and social exclusion are what cornered these guys enough to commit these idiotic raids. It's kinda easy to look down upon the perpetrators from a viewpoint of never having had to endure the total lack of perspective that these fellows go through.

Also, that injured guy who got mugged by his supposed rescuers, he is a Malaysian student studying in the UK, hey about got here about a month ago, the thugs broke his jaw and stole his bike, then the guys that at first appeared to be helping him nicked his phone, wallet and PSP.

I hope all those muggers will be arrested and punished the way they deserve. The video linked by Asparagin was a real pain and I hope the victim will be all right as soon as possible. Finally I really thought those aggressors couldn't even be compared with animals, since animals behave with much more dignity. I wish that the situation in UK will come back to a normal one as soon as possible. Take care

You are right, poor government policy: They should end all of their welfare and entitlements. Then they can stop living off respectable society and starve to death. A 10pm curfew + shoot to kill policy would do wonders in finishing this mess.
