Yak-3, La-5FN or La-7 would be the comrade's cojones. Or sheeit, continue the ground-pounding theme and give us an IL-10 :D

Will need them Biffers and Fockes later as well I think...

The DCS Mi-8MTV2. The best aviational BBW experience you could ever dream of.

Number 1 pour moi

A Vietnam theatre would be awesome, although the F4 would be nails.

So what if the first flying legends aircraft was WWII:

F-4 Phantom II all the way!

I think whatever is next in Flying Legends is likely to be from the Fighter Collection's stable. That way they can get all the data they need (performance, object dimensions, sounds etc).

And they can get limited sales, too (compared to e.g. modeling an F-4, F-14, MiG-21, MiG-25, etc.) ;)

I honestly don´t care for the (propbs) Flying legends. I own IL2 but I haven´t played it much since I am not that much interested in those epoche of Aircrafts. I´d do anythings for the famous "smoker" Phantom and / or the Tomcat.

There might be less Action for those ones, but honestly. I´d spend hours of just flying around or admiring the model. The Phantom and the Tomcat are the only one Aircrafts I really consider a "Flying legend"!!

Uh-1? It is certainly a legend and would fit into almost all theaters or not? Uh well, Korea maybe not...

If a fighter > FW190... But Dora ? hmm I'm kinda fond of the A8 and A9

If it can be a multi-seat miltiplayer aircraft > SBD Dauntless or TBF-C1 for some fun carrier ops.

If it can be a jet > F4 Phantom all the way... and a carrier to go with it.

Yeah, I want the Tomcat. Want WWII aircraft? Just go play IL-2 for C's sake.

You can't honestly equate Il-2s approach with that of DCS.

Good, fast, cheap. Choose any two.

Well, that's a two edged sword. While there's little doubt that the DCS P-51 will offer a much better flight model, cockpit, engine model, etc., it will offer nothing in the terms of authentic WWII combat experience for the P-51 pilot. If I wanted something like that, I might just get an FSX expansion (though, there's something about the FSX graphics, cockpit views modeling, GUI, etc. that I really dislike; I tried several times to get into it, but really can't).
