now even more! :)

(off course I only talk of this very last posting of mine :music_whistling: )

:megalol: ... we are all very anxious, don't you see. But hilarious nontheless.

"A true 'sandbox flight sim' requires hi-fidelity flyable non-combat utility/support aircraft."

Wishlist Terrains - Bigger maps

Wishlist Modules - A variety of utility aircraft to better reflect the support role. E.g. Flying the Hornet ... big yawn ... flying a Caribou on a beer run to Singapore? Count me in. Extracting a Recon Patrol from a hastily prepared landing strip at a random 6 figure grid reference? Now yer talking!

It will be more useful to release patches for critical bugs in already released product as soon as possible instead of focusing on releasing new unfinished beta products like DCS World.

To be more specific:

- I like to destroy russian ships in A10 1.1.1.1 but there is still bug which cause CTD in Win7 64bit when ship is hit by missile

- I have read that it is fixed in 1.1.2.0 (http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=83054)

- I cannot download separate patch 1.1.2.0 cause it doesnt exists

- I have download DCS world and there is icon for 1.1.2.0 but it doesnt work cause DCS world is still in beta

Do you think it is fair to release unfinished beta products when there is still critical bugs in products which customers have already buy ?

Thanx

Without DCS world there would be no future patch for A-10C or Ka-50. I suspect you have missed the point somewhat.

You clearly do not understand the concept of DCS World, which is surprising seeing as you have already been a member since 2010. Be that as it may, that is fine. Ignoring DCS World for a moment, the patches you seek are being worked on and have been all along and will be released shortly, ie when they are ready.

Until then, I would strongly advise that you acquaint yourself with DCS World and it's workings: It is what the Community has been shouting for and wanting for years and years now already.

Yes I understand that DCS World will unite most of the environment of various DCS products and simplify patches for all product. IMHO (as I am also software developer) fixing critical bugs (I dont know how to else call bug which always cause instant CTD) in already paid software is priority number 1 for software developer.

I dont mean it bad this is just my opinion.

No I am not. I have said that IMHO critical bugs (at least CTDs) in sold products should be fixed ASAP and not after developing and testing DCS world.

Did this...

The DCS:-World Module for the A-10 will be released soon.

...not answer that?

Any ETA on the patch to incorporate all DCS products into the world, or individual products?

No, it didn't, bud... Soon doesn't quite cut it. Anyone else have an ETA - like a week, month, or another year?

1 Year, happy now?

In other news it's not like they are releasing a new type of chocolate bar that has zero complexity. They are however working on something that is extremely complex and I am happy to wait until they get it to where they are happy with it, before they let me download it.

At minimum, one could assume that it will not come out until DCS: World is no longer in Beta!

OK, since there are so many questions here already, I assume you better informed people won't mind one more.

Here goes mine:

How will DCS World beta change into the official release of DCS World? Is it another independent download, or we can just download a small patch to make the beta version the final product?

I am asking because I want to try DCS World, but do not want to just keep installing and uninstalling...

Thanks.

Historically, it has been recommended to do a full re-install anytime a new patch for A-10 has been released.

Based on that I would never consider just applying a patch to go from Beta the released product.

For that reason, and becuase they aren't creating patches for the Beta itself currently, I would not expect ED to produce such a patch.

I can virtually guarentee that if you install DCS World now that there will be at least one or two more Beta releases which will definately require you to download the entire product again. We are on the second Beta now, if you were not aware.
