I've just watched your vid, you are one cool cat. And people say there's no one willing. Blah! Would you by any chance want to tackle the EDM format?

EDM plugin only works up to max 2011? I have 2012.

DCS is still very new to me, so once I get a good understanding on how everything works I'll be sure to make some more videos.

 

 

Yes, .EDM plugins are only valid at this time to 3ds max 2008, 2010, and 2011.

Maybe this is a strange question - but would you mind releasing a CMD to LOM converter also ?

Should be useful for updating old models before converting to final EDM extension

Most likely not. CMD is obsolete format and not actively used by the developers anymore, and as far as I know no CMD to LOM converter exists, otherwise there would be no remaining CMD files, they would've all been converted over. ;)

I noticed the past couple revisions of the plugins didn't work for exporting, it would export a blank model. Had to roll back a few versions to get working ones that exported properly. Versions 62993 and 62994 if I remember correctly, avoid those.

I read everywhere it doesn't work with 2012 but the latest installer does offer it for 2012 64bit.

It is the first time I install so forgive me the question...did the 2012 support maybe started just now or was the option always there but it actually causes problems?

I am sitting in the middle of at least hundred MAX 2010-2012 workstations :)

Avoid the newer plugins for now. I have not announced that the new ones contain support for max 2012 because they do not work fully. Use build 62806
